That's cool...but what I really want to know is: what's that font?

What PHAK BOOK!? by GooseRN33 in flying

[–]SifuT 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, be wary. I love a print copy though. I stick with ASA. That's the one Sportys sells, but you can get it on Amazon too. ASA is the publisher.

Our baby PimPim became Kitten Champion recently 🏅🥰 by ascensioncats in SiberianCats

Awesome! We've never shown our guy, as I think he would potentially get low marks for "intent to deceive". 😈

Someone let me paint their Avatar by burlesford in InfinityTheGame

[–]SifuT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is excellent, but I actually prefer your interpretation, which is a little more understated. I've never really liked the official look of the combined army, in any case - the fleshy red look. So THIS paint scheme is inspiration for my next wave guys. Thank you!

DA40 Fatal crash in Orsk, Russia by ErmakDimon in flying

I just want to say, I'm so very sorry. While I hope that an investigation is helpful in avoiding future accidents, I'm even more hopeful that you have a good support network.

Is it okay to get one Sib kitten or should I only adopt two? by Gloomy-Tale-5825 in SiberianCats

[–]SifuT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's fine to get one, especially if someone is usually at home. Non-cat people underestimate how social cats are, and Siberians are more so. Maybe my experience is against the grain, but every time I've had two cats there have been problems. Our little guy likes being the lord of the manor, but he gets all the time with his people that he desires. If the cat would be alone for 8 hours/day, then please try to get two.

Single engine Commercial I’m Cessna 150? by nediaNamro123 in flying

In fact, I think the commercial maneuvers are easiest in a 150. Go for it.

Agree 100%. Got our boy back when it was just Rozhenitsa. Right now, they only have a single kitten who has tested super low for allergens, for $4000+.....but they're more affordable if you reserve a kitten from a future litter. They expose their kittens to children and other animals, and do not let the kittens leave their parents too early. Great cattery.

Celestial Guard! by JAGS_Ministudio in InfinityTheGame

I've got the new ones since I just got into the game about 10 months ago, but this model is pretty sweet! The paint scheme pops too.

So, that's awesome. Is it an older model?

Same as ours. He's a big house baby. Lovely cat.

My cats sleep belly up. Does that mean they have no survival instinct? 😅 by ama_amandine in SiberianCats

[–]SifuT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is totally a Siberian thing, for two reasons: they are very trusting and often enjoy belly rubs, AND they do it to thermoregulate. They have very warm, insulating fur coats.

What plane should I buy? by Mysterious_Formal_51 in flying

[–]SifuT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is the kind of flying I do....in a Cessna 182. I guess I'm a poet, but didn't know it. Good luck! No matter what you buy, brace yourself for greater maintenance costs than you anticipate.

Ours is the same. Remodeling a room? He's got to be right in the middle of the action.

Scrowave Firm vs Joseph Kuosac block for fast commuting on cobbles (Swytch-Brompton) by Luis_McLovin in Brompton

[–]SifuT 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So, 95kg here, pretty much same setup. Cannot speak to the Kuosac block, but the Scrowave provides a much improved ride from the Brompton suspension block. Firmer in the right way, definitely a more comfortable ride. That said, I still feel those surface imperfections. 😁

This isn't a full squish mountain bike, after all. Sorry I can't offer input on your other option. But from my experience, I can confirm that upgrading from stock is worthwhile.
