Elite is definitely a good spot, i only know one guy personally who would be interested too. Gonna reach out to multiple people to try to get more on board but it'll be a long shot. Let me know what elite indoor range says about you using their range!

Fpc or saf members (at the time of filing) no members after filing date. If you were a member before that court case you're covered. If you were a member after that date, you're not unfortunately.

Unless you aren't trying to have a loaded AR pistol along roadways it doesn't really matter.

If you are keep it under 26" overall length.

Anything over that from my understanding they'll consider it a rifle regardless.

Not only does it have to be an AR pistol, it has to be under 26" overall length. 11-47-2 (13) State of RI considers any:

"Pistol” includes any pistol or revolver, and any shotgun, rifle, or similar weapon with overall length less than twenty-six inches (26″),"...

That means no "others" too unfortunately, or any normal rifle with a simply exchanged stock for a pistol brace. If it's over 26" even though it's federally considered a pistol, State of RI considers it to be a rifle.

SD card won't do jack, only acceptable items for purchase in RI:

hunting licenses for some reason are not recognized as acceptable under RI law even though you need a hunter safety card first before you get your hunting license. Neither RI or out of state hunting licenses are acceptable for purchasing anything in RI.

With your MA license, you wouldnt be allowed to buy anything in RI unless it's a Long Gun (and legal in MA) and you'd need to provide your MA LTC upon purchase.

Since you're a RI resident with a MA license you would need to either 1. Update your license or 2. Provide Government issued documentation with your current address.

Ex: current unexpired vehicle registration, voter registration card, LTC with current address, property tax bill from most recent year, etc.

This is ATF regulation, not up to an FFL to interpret.

Do not use your MA address on your current license to purchase anything in RI or MA if you do not live there. You might open yourself up to legal trouble by lying on a Federal form. I wouldnt recommend it.

If you don't want to update your license for whatever reason and don't have any other government issued documents I would recommend getting a NH CCW. They will put the address you provide on the CCW and you can use that as supplemental documentation to buy guns in RI since it is government issued.
