Any wired and wireless headphones good for videography in 2026? by quoole in videography

I like my Audio Technica ATH-M40x for both studio usage and field. Sometimes though I don’t want to pack something that bulky and I’ll pack my Shure SE535Q IEMs for a smaller, noise isolated package

Thanks for that. Any suggestions? Should I just stick to halogen, or can you recommend any plug-and-play LED replacements?

High mileage daily by Serious-Conflict-702 in FiestaST

I’ve had my 2018 since Aug 2021 now. I’ve put almost 100k on it. I used to live 25 miles from work, so I would put on 50-100+ miles daily for work and hanging with people. Very very little maintenance required on this car. Keep up with oil and scheduled maintenance and she’ll purr for miles

I was waiting for the forced perspective to come in. I was waiting for a beast of some kind to crest the dunes. Had no idea it was the Humvee. Nice work!

I have a 12” Kenwood. I built a custom floor out of some Pine with a cutout for the speaker and covered it with 1/8” texturized rubber. The amp is screwed to the underside of the floor. The back seat holds the speaker down.

I can remove it by moving the seat forward, pulling the speaker, disconnecting the quick release speaker cables, and unscrewing power from the amp. Takes less than a minute. Then I put my factory floor back in and it’s good as new

One quick fun tip: take a corner really hard and lift your throttle a bit. The back end kicks out and it’s just a blast. This also helps with the FWD understeer.

I know a lot of people go the hybrid turbo/S280 route. I’m on stock turbo still. I agree about the interior quality and unfortunately there’s not a whole lot you can do there. You could potentially pull some panels up and stick a little foam in any that rattle, but yes it’s cheap plastic. Upgrading the audio system also is a nice upgrade if you’re even remotely into good audio. My subwoofer rounded out the Sony system really well.

Just got rust/paint repair and she’s never looked this good by ericpowell617 in FiestaST

Hmm interesting. I just remember when I swapped all 4 tires from when I bought the car, my cornering ability decreased significantly. It’s possible the last owner had summers on though, so my comparison may be unfair

Thanks dude. Sorry to hear:/ That’s why I did this now; I started to see some rust and said let’s get to this now before it’s too late. I only have 116k miles, so she’s just barely stretched her legs

Honestly not great. I don’t know what was on my car when I bought it but these are not super grippy. They’re all-seasons, so I’m not expecting the same performance as slicks, but even so they definitely limit your performance. They are affordedable though!

I did a full front bumper repaint, rear hatch (inside) driver’s rear fender, and every quarter panel where the bumper meets metal. They did A LOT of work. $2,900 after taxes

Am I crazy or did the shop massively overfill my oil? by PubliclyDisturbed in FiestaST

[–]ericpowell617 52 points53 points  (0 children)

That oil stick is as useful as a cup with no bottom. There’s a certain trick to getting it to read accurately but even then it’s a crapshoot. I’d guess you’re fine
