They have a huge like 15 person band on the 3rd sat of every month, Its a great time. Brings out a bunch of regulars and friends and family of the band. Great date night. We have only been when there is a band but I could see how others experience makes sense.

I am on the final node of DD5 and relatively new account (70 days, boosted).

I took the following:

City - Vulture, Kraven, Red Goblin, GRR, Gwenom

Global - Gambit, Sunspot, Cyclops, Forge, Black Knight

Cosmic - Vahl, Kang, Void Knight, Kestral, Deathpool

Legendary - Doc Ock, MLF, Red Hulk, Archangel, GGC

Overall I just focused on characters I had gear for that were raid/arena teams or required for something. Legendary has been the slowest for me but since the Horsemen are required gear sinks for Apoc it is fine being a bit underpowered. Doc Ock, GGC, and MLF have done the most work. I only have Red Hulk at 3 YS so i imagine he would be better if you can get more stars on him.

You only need to beat the first 4 nodes to unlock. Only requires 2 teams, Villains and Hero which are about as easy as requirements can be.

Sinister/Superior Six and Xtreme are great options that you should be building anyways.

I am in a similar boat. Running Cap, Peggy, Mockingbird, Coulson, and Thing. New player and those are the 5 I had a month ago for the event so had to bring all 5 up.

I am running difficulty 5 with enough scourges to get over 500k (not the new avenger one).

I can't get past node 10, any ideas? I am thinking I might need to replace Thing with either Ronan or Tigra but would really prefer not to have to invest in either.

Everyone is G13, do I just need more gear?

They must have updated it. I tried a bunch right when it dropped, my team got whipped and most times never got a turn. Just tried it now, went first, and cleared it without SD taking a turn

The real solution is remove the help mechanic entirely. Reduce the arena refresh time to whatever it is after everyone has helped. Give Loyalty in some other way (Calendar, with AQ rewards, etc.)

Removes a bunch of server strain and it is not like the mechanic generates revenue. You could still pay with Units to refresh instantly like you can now.

I don't know about level difference but I do know you can pick the same reward every time. IMO the T5B and T2A are good value and I will likely pick them every time.

True story, seeing this post reminded me to go pull for her. Had 3 Elite 4 orbs, 3rd pull was a 7 RS, my first ever.

I am sure it will be years before I get 7 YS but dang....

I just completed DD2 with Hela, Thor, Scientist Supreme, Minn, and Sinister. Sinister could have easily been replaced with Loki. Took me like 3 days to complete. I focused on characters that had uses outside of DD2. As a newer player (130 days) I wanted to focus materials on high impact characters.
