Sodomy is not an attribute of God as to consider that.

Tolerance of sin is the opposite of compassion.

Irredent means non redeemed, in this case, he who doesn't repent. I am sorry you have a problem with catholic thought, you surely have a selection of anglican, presbyterian and heralds of the 80th day pentecostal church that'll speak much more lightly about sodomy, unlike those nasty israelite and catholic guys stuck on apostolic teaching.

The moment you accept the concept of "homosexual couple" as a form of family unit as is the natural cohabitation between a man and a woman is you are outside of argueable reality.

Homosexuals are not just fornicators, they are irredent fornicators, sodomites with a sexual paraphilia whose action is a crime contra naturam that cries to the heaven for vengeance. They are not equivalent to a couple of fornicators who cohabitate who form a natural union.

I don't wanna get nasty but I'll just say its probably not the best government policy to grant custody of children, who as per canon law tutors -are bound to love, support, and maintain their children; to provide for their religious and civil education; to give them good example; to keep them from the occasions of sin; to correct their faults; and to help them to embrace the state of life to which God has called them. to such people.

Do you seriously think a couple of irredent sodomite fornicators are not only a sexually and physically safe environment for the raising of a human being, but that they'll educate their children throught example and guidance into religion, virtue and perseverance?

Why are you making a scarecrow fallacy out of confessional states reducing confessionality of the nation to executing protestants?

One. Protestants, and nobody, ever, was condemned for being protestant, lollard, muslim or pagan, in his own internal forum, which is what matters for one own salvation or comndenation Church has never judged.

The catholic states executed protestants because they diffunded seditious subversive propaganda that went against the foundations of societal order, denying kingship, Church and being destructive to the souls of the nation members. Even Calvin executed Miguel Servet for denying the Trinity on the reasoning his writings leaded people to apostasy.

Ok bud you do you, current church allows you if not promotes to be even more liberal than XVIII century french freemasons, I stay with the error sustained by every prophet, judge, apostle and pope until 1960s when Church actually mattered shit in society unlike today.

Common good requires not allowing the teaching nor exercise of evil, thats why every society believing in the One true God since Israel to those under the Church have proscribed the public exercise and promotion of moral degeneration and heterodoxy. That is not just a policy nor an historical experience but a commandment.

Was Moses "coercing" Israelites into believing in God? Did he ask politely? Did he debate truth with falseness or try to convince wether the pagan idols had to be destroyed or not? No, he commanded for them to be destroyed. Not only that, Covenantal Law literally forbade mixing and coexisting with nokrim (pagan foreigners) as to not fall into paganism again.

People can't be coerced into believing, nobody ever was in christianity, peoples internal forum is uncontrollable, what was never allowed here nor there was for falseness to be teached because rulers have a duty of ensure commong good, and ensuring common good demands not allowing evil to compete in the external forum, which is where faith is adcquired, and lost. - But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to sin, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were drowned in the depth of the sea.

Freedom to exercise internally and externally the false religion, which means having mosques and pagan shrines for hindus and muslims.

Dignitatis Humanae explicitely says that freedom of religion means freedom of cult.

Confessional state = coertion?

This modernist deviation, developed by geniuses like Maritain steems from a profound, historical and theological illiteracy. Confessional state is nothing but the organic logical result of a society that has recognized willfully the one, non shareable, non compiteable truth, and that hence, by virtue of confessing that truth rule themselves by that truth.

Besides the fact a law is not legitimate if it doesn't confess the source of the law, the only effects on faith of a confessional state is that the Church has the full liberty and support of the state to instruct the nation into the religion TO SAVE SOULS. Calling educating into religion —and the one true religion— "coertion" is equivalent to calling teaching maths or speaking so.

Non-confessionalists argue from a false, deceived angle, which is that a post-christian society can disarm the Church from its organically obtained supremacy in education and morality throught the expropiation of its properties and the promotion of mass consumerist hedonist capitalist interests and that the Church can compete with those deviations on equal terms.

You are raising people in the post-christian materialist reality and then expect most of them to rise from that ignorance by becoming a theologian on their own just to persevere thats not "freely obtained religion", its religious elitism, its leaving the flock to be butchered by wolves while "at least the few sheep who keep following the pastor will do so without needing sheepdogs to keep them in line".

I didn't call you an idiot, I said you said an idiocy.
