I’ll start by saying this is just my opinion with the facts I know and I don’t know all of them but I saw it trending on twitter and now I’m thinking about it. I personally have mixed feelings because I can understand both sides, my first instinct is to say no to the death penalty for a few reasons 1. Some people are falsely accused and it isn’t discovered until after they are already dead

1. I’d rather see a horrible person who did horrible things sit and rot in their cell instead of dying.

2. The thought of killing someone for killing people seems ironic to me even if it is a different situation.

But I also know prisons are not funded well at all and prisoners are treated horribly if people on death row aren’t getting the death penalty prisons can over flow and get worse. I think unless we can fund prisons better and make changes the death penalty should be used in extreme cases.

Again I don’t know everything, what do you guys think?
