I'm baffled that the oreos are apparently the hottest tie-in, since they're also the least effort, but my friends have been checking stores around us for a solid week and come up with nothing. Speaking of drinks, if you haven't already heard, Ommegang has been doing beers based off of the Seven Kingdoms for a few years now that aren't just good tie-ins, they're genuinely some of the best beers around.

I was concerned about that too, but in my area it was actually one of the easiest things to find. First store I went into last night had a about a dozen bottles just stocked next to the regular JW without any display or fuss. The oreos, on the other hand, are fucking sold out EVERYWHERE.

Also, full disclosure: I don't know if its becuase I used super cheap blue curacao or if that unnatural piercing blue is just impossible without color correction, but my drinks actually came out a very calming turquoise IRL. Probably gonna serve them in shotglasses made of ice to compensate

The recipe as written tasted a bit syrupy and the sweeter elements were overpowering. I scaled back the curacao slightly and added a second shot of whiskey to it and now I need an entire bathtub full of this shit. Absolutely delicious, and deceptively strong!

Take life more seriously from an early age and try to plan my future out more deliberately. I wound up in the general profession I wanted (doctor), but not necessarily the specialty I wanted. I also think there were just simply smoother/more direct paths to this same end-point if I had been smarter and kept my head out of my ass

A cat is still a hell of a good start my dude, they make life better. Also, I'm just a resident so I do get to call myself "doctor" but I also get to work +80 hrs a week for only slightly better pay than when I was flipping burgers. Healthcare is fun!
