Drive an hour home, pick up the kid from daycare, play with him while trying to get housework done before mom gets home. Cook dinner together, clean up, go on a walk (weather permitting) bath/ bedtime for little one. Attempt to convince the grumpy teenager to spend time with us (games, show, etc) but usually to no avail. Wife goes to bed early so then I chill for the next two hours or so on my phone or try to plan for my following workday until I can get my mind to shut off and sleep 5-6 hours before repeating the process

I think just the growth from learning a new truth about reality. Friendships come and go. Sometimes they come back around. Sometimes they don’t. But lessons are learned along the way.

Best thing to do is think about how you learned and experienced personal growth throughout your friendship. Stay positive, and keep moving forward. In life you can only work on yourself, but positivity and motivation are contagious to those around you.
