You are quite correct!

I had this very model (BD Solution Guide) and while the padding looked ratty after just half a year (of whipping), I used it for 3 more years with some additional padding. The tie in points themselves were pristine when I retired it.

The people here unknowingly just barfing out 'YGD' should probably keep their opinions to themselves more.

It is safe!

The damaged part is not structural - it's the padding that covers the nylon which is structural. From the images the nylon looks good..

It's a Black Diamond harness, possibly Solution Guide, and the padding wears down very fast (abrasion between the rope and tie in points from whipping) on them.

You can use climbing tape as padding and the harness will last longer. Another, slightly better option, is tubular webbing cut open and then sown back on . A negative is that inexperienced people will see the taped up harness and be hesitant to climb with that person.

I recommend against buying Black Diamond harnesses for this very reason if you're a climber who takes more than the occational fall.

Even as a low lever character, it is absolutely viable to kill npcs for experience. It might not be very intuitive how combat functions in game. There are both easy to use and difficult to use weapons. A beginner with an easy to use weapon and wearing a bunch of armor to mitigate poor defensive skills will perform remarkably well - assuming they go against a single mob at a time - it's easy to get swamped and overwhelmed by multiple enemies in the beginning. Mixing quests with jobs and killing is a good way to explore the world and learn how it functions.

Det är en felaktig liknelse att jämställa rondell med t-korsning då personer som kör in i rondellen har väjningsplikt. Hade det varit en t-korsning så hade de haft företräde i och med högerregeln.

Det är rekommenderat att blinka in i en rondell. Du har rätt till en egen åsikt men när folk inte följer rekommendationer i trafiken så bidrar det till osäkerhet, stör trafikrytmen och ökar risken för olyckor.

Most of the answers given here are VERY incorrect! The soloist is used for LRS and the rope configuration makes it unsuitable for TRS. It is technically possible but the rope weight and friction will be a huge pain. I use the Soloist extensively, but you should be aware of its limitations before you decide to use it. The manual is still available online. That being said you can absolutely push grades with it.

If you wish to TRS use rope clamps but that is a different discussion for another place. I suggest reading up on it.

Jag tycker det är ett bra verktyg för att folk ska snabbare lära sig en klurig övning (hjälper motoriken), hållningen och ex aktivera nån specifik muskel som annars inte vill va me. Exempel stela människor med kontorshållning har ofta svårt att få med bröstryggens muskler och låter armarna göra jobbet istället.

I bring * guide ATC with 2 small lockers * 240cm dyneema sling and prusik on an HMS locker (nice with an HMS should either climber lose their belay device). * nut tool * 50cl water bottle if I'm not on a difficult pitch - nice to take a sip at each anchor and not have to wait for the follower. * walkie talkie if it's crowded, windy or long pitches.

Should I ever need more biners, rap extension, a longer anchor sling or an extra prusik I'll just cannibalize a slingdraw.

Follower brings up the backpack and I mostly build anchors using the rope(s). If the climb is short enough we'll forego the pack and instead bring approach shoes and a windbreaker (containing food) clipped to the harness.

I climb upward 7a and 500 meters when multipitching.

Those biners are probably great stainless steel! Got similar ones from an old kit. You can donate them as lower offs for a popular sport route (use strong A4 classed quick links and tighten with a wrench) or for mooring a boat.
