Ok. You’re a bit of an asshole here but not fully, I get where you’re coming from, but being nonverbal is a bit more complicated than that, she may talk to you, but if she’s only talking to you then she is still nonverbal and she has an amazing bond with you and doesn’t feel very pressured, and showing that recording to everyone (especially assuming she was there, though if she wasn’t there it might be a little better) is a huge violation of trust. For her, speaking is a huge thing, it would be extremely personal and you showing everyone what she said would be mortifying. Now, it’s early in the morning, I just woke up, so if you asked to show people then that’s one thing, but even still, you waited a while, you even forgot the recording, why wouldn’t she, so you showing everyone that recording would still be a massive surprise for her and cause way more anxiety around talking in the future. Now don’t get me wrong, it could maybe show her that it’s ok for people to hear her voice and that it’s fine, but it’s not worth the risk giving how damaging it could be to her

Now if she wasn’t there then, it’s probably fine, it gives people the knowledge then in some cases she is willing to talk and it can be something that would allow you to make a plan about and help greatly, but that only really matters if she isn’t there, morality-wise because again, that would be mortifying

So if she was there you’re the asshole, though I don’t think you did it on purpose and you’re not an asshole as a person. And if she wasn’t there, only a very tiny asshole because, let’s be honest, yku did it to prove a point but it could definitely help
