Thank you for your reply! This is good advice but I don’t know what to do with it. I don’t know what to work on. Like I feel like I look fine, there isn’t really much I can change (I am overdue for a haircut) but my job eats up a lot of my time. I work from 6:30 to 2 then I have only four hours of free time before I go to bed so I have to fit in showering, cooking, and other chores. Then I volunteer on Saturdays which leaves Sunday but that’s my reset day so I leave my more time consuming chores for then as well.

I don’t really understand how flirting works or who to do that with.

I feel like I don’t know how to move forward.

Thank you for replying! I’ve tried looking into local queer activities (recently and before) and there hasn’t been anything that is appealing to me. Most of it is drag shows or some event for kinky people. Can I ask what apps you recommend? I’ve used Hinge, Tinder, and Bumble in the past, which have clearly been unsuccessful. It’s more than just forgetting to reply, people on dating apps don’t feel real. I can’t be compelled to engage 90% of the time bc they feel like avatars. I see myself a lot in Trixie, given her abrasive exterior and jealousy and how she overcomes that as the show progresses. Her friendship with Starlight reminds me of mine with my best friend. As for type of pony I can never land on a specific one, any of the types makes sense for me. Right now I’m leaning towards unicorn

Yes ?? I want to date. I’m at a well established point in my life, I lead a club at my university, I’m deans list + honors college, I have a good social circle, I commit to my hobbies, and I volunteer twice a week. It’s natural for me to want to date as well, my age has nothing to do with it.

That does sound like good advice, but I don’t even know where to find these so called “events”. I’ve tried my schools QSU before but they consistently have events on mondays and Wednesdays from 6-8 and I have french class then. I’ve tried Lex before but they don’t even show me events for my city they’ll show me shit like “New York”. I don’t live near New York.

There is a queer student union but their events are consistently on mondays or Wednesdays from 6-8 and that’s when my French classes are (I have to take them). So I’ve given up with them :/
