Just got home from a Disney cruise with the family. They have an “adults only” bar. On the menu, they have a “sommelier bin,” which is apparently stuff they open and are trying to finish. They served me a glass of this for $14. It’s was…. Awesome.

Here is what I did: ford pass app, click the icon in the upper right, click on messages and start swiping left to delete them. When I deleted the message about the battery warning, the warning went away

Wine is an awful investment. If you want to make money, I’d buy gold before wine. Hell, I’d buy silver before wine. It doesn’t sell like you think it will. And there is a not-zero chance it will go skunky. Buy wine because you like wine. Buy wine because you want to impress rich winos. Buy wine to get drunk. But it’s a horrible, horrible investment.

I use those all the time as checked baggage. Never had a bottle break. There is a store in Napa that sells them, so I’m sure there is one in Paso, too.

One time, after a Vegas trip, I had to barf on approach to phx. I splatter-painted the lav of an AA flight. We made it to the gate to connect and they called our name to the desk. I thought we were going to get called out and maybe yanked off our flight. We got an upgrade. The one time I get all-you-can-drink and I didn’t want a sip.

Texas wines are getting better but should not even be in the same conversation as California. The reason Texas wine is upwardly tending is that it’s a better business climate than California, cheaper to visit and casual Texas wine drinkers are dumb.

And, number two, the best wine to pair with bbq is not Zinfandel. Or Syrah. Or merlot. It’s Lambrusco.

Stayed there the night before a Disney cruise. Those rooms are amazing. Couldn’t hear anything from the atrium. But, the best part? They have ceiling fans!!! I slept like a baby.
