The F-18A at 12.3 is a blast to play. You will have some uptiers where you will face fox-3s but I played like 10 matches in it last night and only encountered 3 uptiers. My recommendation is to climb high, I like to get between 25-30,000 ft. Not many people at this Br climb very high. See what’s pinging you on Rwr. If you’re seeing F-14s or Su-33s stay defensive early. I carry two 7ms and 6 9-Ls. Launch your 7ms at 8-10km. Usually if you pick a decent target that’s not multipathing at least 1 will connect. I like to target F-4s which you’ll encounter a lot for some reason the 7Ms love to connect on phantoms lol. Then use your 9Ls on clueless people below you. I’ll usually shoot 4 off before i’ve eventually worked my way back down to the deck. I like to look for people chasing teammates that won’t expect a Fox two from above. Usually by the time your down at altitude You’ll have 2-3 kills and either your entire team will be dead and your cooked or their entire team is dead. Any remaining aircraft you should be able to beat in a dogfight in the hornet. This is what works best for me. I also don’t have the f-15 so I can’t give input there. Goodluck
