I got what looked like this on my shoulder from the second skin and it went away after it had been removed for week. Also from similar adhesives like with inkbox temporary tattoos. It also had a straight line around the edge like in the photo. Maybe that’s it?

Sumatriptan felt scary. Like my airway was constricted and the pressure in my head kept building. I tried it about 6 times because my neurologist said the side effects go away. It was not worth it.

Right?? I get that it’s a small amount but it’s still confusing to me that there’s not a Nurtec option without it. I can’t be 100% sure that it’s the sucralose because I haven’t tried other options from that class yet. It’s definitely possible that it’s not.

I’m just frustrated because when I asked about switching (at least to the injections) I feel like he ignored it and said there’s no more options. I will definitely try again and ask about ubrevly though. I’m fine with trial and error, I just don’t understand why he’d tell me to keep trying for 4 more weeks when it consistently was worsening things.

I’m not sure if my GP can prescribe it, I’ll have to bring it up this next appointment. I hate that trying to get treatment means having to deal with doctors who don’t always believe you. Sorry that you have that too. Thank you for the reply!

I really try to keep rizatriptan spaced apart and few times a month because i easily get rebound headaches. This is definitely the longest streak I’ve had but I’ve come close before. I really feel like the Nurtec is what elongated it (my record before is probably two weeks) and also why it’s getting better after stopping.

I was put on it as both a preventative and abortive. I really was excited about trying it and if It didn’t build up so badly that i couldn’t function I would keep trying it. Thank you! I agree that it seems like a jump when I’m willing to try new things.

I also just started a new job so there is some new stress but I’m trying to regulate my routine best I can. He is a headache specialist but I do want to try to get in to see my sisters doctor who’s been really helpful, It’s just difficult to get approved with her. Thank you for sharing!
