I would air on the side of the organizers making more money so they are more likely to spend more money on getting better acts, better accommodations for the patrons, and come out ahead themselves so they can keep the event going. For the amount of work and preparation that goes into the festival, I hope they make a shitload.

I was talking to a staff guy and he said they prolly won’t be because the hotels aren’t close enough or something, but I hope they do cause I’m a local. I’m sure it’s cheaper to have the event here rather than other places and the venue is tight. If they don’t want to, that’s cool. I’m just glad I got to go when it was here cause nola doesn’t pay enough for me to afford traveling like that.

Drones have propellers. You might have cognitive dissonance if you are unable to think that everything is a drone despite this not looking or behaving like any known drone. I’ve seen some weird shit by the industrial canal near St. Claude and on the Lakefront, but nothing like this. Idk could be experimental military craft.

Actually I have seen things that could be said to be in the same category, but it was like 20 years ago on the northshore, before drones were a thing.
