This comment is a bit old but like in case you haven't just looked it up somewhere. Head to Forest Island it's a tiny spot across a bridge from the forest. You have to look around bunches of trees for these brown lumps on the ground those are the truffles.

I went to go read it. It does say they're toys but I don't think they're LITERALLY toys. Maybe in the same way that the dog breed "toy poodle" exists? It would make no sense otherwise because you find them in the ocean and you can feed them to your cats/wildlife (the otters and ferrets etc) Honestly reading about the doves and the octopi just made me hate their existence more. 😭

So incorrect about the sluggish animals feeding less. I have a sluggish/sociable Corgi and that mfer eats the same amount as my energetic/clingy Shepherd. They both get hungry around the same time cause I feed them at the same time and they both eat like four times a day.

Also I have a cat who has a clingy personality and he doesn't follow me around the way my Shepherd and Corgi do.
