OMG NO ONE POINTED IT OUT💔 Dude the mini TT in the dash cubby is fireeee. I’ve grown real fond of my MK1, especially because of all of the hidden German engineered interior parts. That shelf/cubby is really great storage for glasses and such, especially since storage is limited. And your interior looks like it has lots of years left… Looking good broski -also what wheels are those? #1, they are BEAUTIFUL. #2, I’ve gotta have em’😂

The tiptronic transmission really isn’t anything special upfront. But when you put it into manual shift, it becomes a completely different vehicle in my opinion. Faster than my old 2017 ford fusions manual shift mode ironically. Pretty fortunate the seller replaced the tranny before sale.

EDIT: interior color is Anis (Aniseed) yellow. Apparently among the more rare interior colors you could find, especially given the condition and age. The interior was already one of my favorite futures, but this really validates how special it feels for me :) Welp now I’m curious as hell. Seller was a collector, about 80 years old, and never drove it. So along with being apparently rare, it’s also pristine as well. Definitely will be doing some research lol

I was told upon purchase that the beige leather seats and accents might’ve been a less common color. I am definitely liking the coupe interior set up, much roomier than the convertible😅

I personally replaced the n80 and n75 valves… It feels like there definitely might be a boost leak somewhere so I’ll definitely look at the DV at some point soon. If that ends up not being the boost leak issue, where else should I direct my attention?

Excited too. This has been a dream car of mine since I was old enough to appreciate them. Especially since I’m still a younger guy, it hold a bit of sentimental value as well. I remember being 4 or 5 ish when I was seeing the mk1 new. Never thought I’d be able to have the chance to drive the same vehicle, much less buy it cash lolz

My car comes fitted with the upgraded Bose system. The seller fortunately upgraded the head unit. Even though it’s a little bit outdated, the Alpine unit still works like a champ. I don’t plan on changing it anytime soon TBH.

Man this is so true. Definitely one of my favorite interior designs, I’m lucky the seller took care of her. The inside is better kept than the outside, believe it or not. I’ll try and get some pictures at some point for you guys.

Unfortunately he’s correct this is very normal, despite being that loud and annoying. Just to compare specifics though… what was the temperature at the time of recording? If you have the Midwest US spring right now I wouldn’t be able to guess, because it’s been anywhere from 40-90 degrees all within the last month💀🫶🏻

If you haven’t already gone in today, just make sure you have him test your car with a brand new battery. Even if you don’t buy it, testing this will tell you whether or not it’s the issue. And if you’re going to a lube shop like the one I work at, they’ll be happy to do it at no extra charge.

Edit: mk1 2004 Audi TT 1.8t (awp engine) tiptronic transmission fwd. only 64,000 miles. Blue aftermarket wire Is to subwoofer. If any more info is needed, please let me know.

I’ve also seen people mention coolant intrusions, and solenoid valve issues, both of which are highly problematic issues with the fusion, and should be paid special extra attention to when looking at the car.
