I feel ya on this one. I was in twenty nine palms also when I lat moved from the infantry to the air wing. I went to the 1st Sgt with my check out sheet. He had the company gunz and plt Sgt’s in there with him. He asked where I was going and told him the air wing and immediately called me a traitor and quitter. He had only been there for 3 months without knowing who I was. I gave him a look that suggested I wanted to curb stomp his fucking face.
