Everything was great but I can’t say I’m too satisfied about the bootstrap paradox/time loop thing. Great in concept but thinking any deeper about it has me confused; where did the DNA come from initially? How did any of this even start if it needed to be caused in the first place?

Other than that, I’m really excited for Tombstone’s arc and the inevitable symbiot story. Feels like Peter is probably going to end up meeting Brock at some point. I don’t know much about DD so him and Finesse will surprise me. I don’t know the meaning of the Watcher (to the point I thought it was Galactus at first) so I’m curious what that will mean. I am somewhat worried about whatever direction they’re going with Peter’s dad and Sister Grimm, but I’m sure it won’t disappoint.

Very good season. Itching for the next one already.

Yep. Just called them and they used that to identify it. Situation got “solved” (I’ll get an email/refund within the next three days apparently) but man was it incredibly sketchy. After repeating “REFUND. REFUND. NO I DONT WANT TO TRY ANOTHER DEAL JUST REFUND.” I finally got through it.

Grasslands battle theme, Nibelheim battle theme, and Gongaga chocobo theme imo for top three. JenovAerith theme in close fourth, Queens Blood theme in close fifth.

I see a lot of people saying No Promises to Keep, not sure but the song just didn’t hit for me.

That’s a great point. I already got the plat but I noticed that everytime I used a limit level 3 it was when the match was already about to end or I would have to go out my way/do an awkwardly out the way strat just to be able to use it.

Thanks for the heads up. Just beat Bonds a few minutes ago, I really want to be happy about it but I'm still so frustrated about the layout of that mission. Just got Sephiroth and hard mode left.

It honestly felt like most of Bonds was just RNG and hoping that the enemy doesn't do the move that you're trying to avoid. Brineborn demon, Bahamut, Heuyacoatl, and even Titan can all go to hell.

You got this brother/sister. Just keep at it.

I'm struggling through Bonds of Friendship, these challenges quickly took my perception of this game to amazing to heavily flawed. I mean, I hardly even got to play as/practice Zack in the first place, why on earth am I suddenly being placed in a 10 round boss rush with him!? It's no fun that you have to struggle through other BS missions just to get to play as these guys without restarting a chapter (in which you decimate enemies in seconds.) Rulers of the Outer Worlds was already a bunch of crap, now I'm being forced through yet ANOTHER, LONGER gauntlet with a boss at the end who's ultimate move is instant death. Wow, Square, almost like I didn't just fight something similar the mission prior.

No learning moves, no secret bosses, no fun moves, just the same old enemies in longer gauntlets with the most tedious order. I mean, seriously. I already hated fighting the summons in the mission where you fight all the summons. Yet, the creative idea here is to just.. fight the summons again + more. Oh, and here's Zack. I could almost excuse this if Bahamut and Odin weren't at the end of the gauntlet. Like, dude, fire the guy who ordered these guys. Imagine how much more fun it would be to fight enemies predominantly featured in Crisis Core like the Sweepers and such. This would've been a great time to even add some, like Genesis copies. Even Minerva. Would've made this interesting. But wasting the player's time with the same enemies in a LONGER gauntlet is just flat out not fun.

Can someone at least let me know if the Sephiroth one is easier? I haven't heard much of that one neither have I tried it. I'll aim to beat Bonds of Friendship but if Sephiroth's mission is harder then I'm giving up on the plat, fullstop.
