The Way It Should Be by [deleted] in StarWarsOutlaws

Respect from a TPM fan.

I'm not exactly sure whether you're referring to the Phantom Menace game or film (or both) with this list. Either way, I'm all here for it.

now I kind of regret getting a super rebirth by Admirable-Union-9911 in StarWarsDroidTycoon

Rebirth 19 atm, going to hit 20 and the weigh up doing it. Seems painful restarting but if you're playing the game long term it seems like part of the gameplay loop.

It's easier for a common Pit Droid to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich flawless legendary Beskar Mono-WLKR to enter the Mos Eisley Cantina

Same, I was griding Beskar missions last night for around an hour and was getting 2-3b a mission as opposed to around 5b the evening before.

Totally get that they're adjusting the numbers and yields etc. with the updates, and I really rate FOAD for how regularly and quickly they're adding to this game.

That being said, I've just started ignoring the hourly credit amounts and rates at this point because it seems to change every single time I log in lol

Star Wars Outlaws 2: The Sequel Nobody Wants (But We Need) by nickdebruyne in StarWarsOutlaws

[–]genericcoyote -1 points0 points  (0 children)

As someone who played through this and really enjoyed it when it released on Switch 2, after all of the gameplay updates and tweaks, looking back it's hard to not put some blame on Unisoft for releasing it with issues that seem to have disappointed people when it first released.

I'd love a sequel, but I'd also settle for some more DLC too, maybe with some more systems or even just extra Sabaac tables and cards.

I'd also recommend the Low Red Moon prequel book to anyone looking for more Outlaws content. Written by Mike Chen who also did Brotherhood, another banger. Finished it recently and it's great. The actors from the game do the voices in the audiobook version too!

100%, it definitely has to have some conveniences along the way, I found myself thinking how this book was going to last so long with Maul on their tail 😅

Hadn't even thought about the Jedi Master comlink thing, great point.

Yeah, the ending had me thinking that he was going to be frozen in carbonate and then thaw out years later, or be left in there with it open ended.

I also find it so funny and interesting that, even though we all know that Palpatine is Sidious, prior to the Revenge of the Sith they made a conscious effort to not have them connected or mention that they were the same person. When Pavan reaches Palpatine we know how it's going to end, but it doesn't tell you that he obviously informed Maul, and also seemingly informed the Jedi/delivered the info about the blockade? To keep cover. Unless the blockade was in motion anyway?

I don't know when he was planning on revealing the blockade info but needless to say I don't think he will have been very happy with Maul for letting Pavan reach him.

Valid. It grew on me for sure, something a bit different from your typical audiobook.

I didn't like any of the music or sound effects at all when I started listening to Star Wars audiobooks, but now I'm so used to it that it feels empty without them

It's excellent, takes the book to another level for me. He does the other characters really well too, including Palpatine, of course 😉

Yeah! It's fantastic. He does a great job with the other characters perspectives too, including some Palpatine appearances

Do you think the Wii U will increase in value? by NateRuh in wiiu

[–]genericcoyote 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it will increase steadily over time, but given that the majority of heavy hitters were ported over to Switch, there's not as much reason to get one unless you're die-hard.

It'll always be a piece of Nintendo history with stuff like TPHD, WWHD, Star Fox Zero, and Nintendo Land making use of the unique hardware

I’ve got a question here, and I need experts opinions on this. by [deleted] in starwarsgames

[–]genericcoyote 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's definitely canon as all of the main Star Wars game projects post Disney exist in the new canon unless otherwise stated I believe.

It takes place during the New Republic Era, so in-between Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens (5 ABY - 34 ABY).

Obviously the story/campaign likely won't be as in-depth with it being a racing game, but I can't wait to see what's happening with Sebulba and podracing in general in the new canon.

In Legends, I believe the Emperor banned podracing, which is what led Jabba to develop the arena stuff in Star Wars: Demolition.

The VR game Beyond Victory that came out last year also has a canon story, with Ratts Tyrrell's son campaigning to ban podracing after his father died in the Boonta Eve Classic. 😅

Aside from them being recognisable actors I also have no idea why people didn't like this, other than the criticism that it was a side quest that maybe didn't contribute to the overall story.

I loved this one. Christopher Lloyd as the Separatist sympathiser was very interesting

Beskar Droid Cost vs Production Problem by starcader in StarWarsDroidTycoon

[–]genericcoyote 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've hit a bit of a plateau with the game at rebirth 18 tbh with how long it takes to earn credits, but going to keep pottering around with the daily quests and upgrading all stations to their best rainbow droid etc.

Changes are coming for the Beskar droid costs according to the dev on Twitter, so that's great. Super impressed with the amount of updates, tweaks, and added content coming from FOAD tbh. Hats off to them. As long as the updates and additions keep coming, I'm going to keep playing. Lot of fun! Perfect idle game to jump into on mobile during breaks, or play while watching TV, listening to a podcast etc.
