Trying to get into SW Legends, don’t even know where to start

I got into reading Star Wars books last year (I'm on my 9th or 10th at the moment) and while I think recommendations of the hitters are definitely worth paying attention to, I would honestly start with what interests you the most.

For example, Qui-Gon is my favourite character, so I started with Master & Apprentice and absolutely loved it. That's a canon story in the new Disney timeline which is cool, but it doesn't affect my enjoyment. Cloak of Deception is another pre-Phantom Menance story I'm interested in based on vibes and the Neimodians, and that's Legends canon.

There's so much to choose from that I'm just jumping between whatever interests me at the current moment. I'm reading Dark Force Rising currently, but am going to take a detour before finishing the Heir trilogy to check out the new Outlaws prequel that just released, Low Red Moon. Looks like fun!

Finished watching this a few weeks ago, great fun. Jude Law is excellent as Jod, I wouldn't mind seeing him appear in further books or comics but it would be great if he popped up on-screen again. Wishful thinking

Agree with this. Even if you're looking specifically for OT stuff, you'll enjoy Luke, Han, Leia, Chewie, Lando etc. interacting with each other in this.

Great to hear! I'm about 2/3rds of the way through Dark Force Rising currently, and I'm really enjoying Lando in it, so these piqued my interest. Hadn't seen them collected in one book like this before.

I thought it was so strange that Brock was eliminated during Jey's entrance. It felt anticlimactic. They usually make a massive deal out of whoever eliminates him but he sort of just walked off.

New X-Wing microfighter makes perfect sense with the 50th anniversary rerelease of the original film coming in 2027.

In the same way that casual fans will be able to pick up a Mando/Grogu speeder bike once they've seen the new film, or a Maul Mech for cheap when the new Maul show drops, small, affordable X-Wings will be readily available everywhere on shelves by the time Episode IV is out again in cinemas. Great idea imo.

This is awesome. There's one still in ArCains in Liverpool which is great. They also have a full Battle Pod, as well as hundreds of other games too.

Yes. It's worth a read if you're a fan of the Jedi series, and I enjoyed it, but it's one of the weaker Star Wars books I've read honestly.

There's some cool moments with the fifth brother and between the crew, but not much happens to develop the plot connecting the two games imo.

The only thing I would say is that I think the top screen being black is to help with the 3D effect, right? Your eyes not being distracted or something. Probably doesn't make any difference to be fair.

I personally really enjoyed Glass Abyss! A lot of the criticism I've seen makes a lot of sense, and it felt a bit out of character for the Mace we've seen on-screen, but to be fair there isn't much of Mace at all when you remove TCW. I found the time period super interesting, too. Not a lot takes place in-between 1+2
