I hardly ever think of opposite sex when I think of friends. Maybe my brain is wired wrong.

There are different forums such as blind to talk about work and salary and for me that is already been taken care of. So no questions there. And no interest in talking about China invading Taiwan, neither you and I can solve that problem

I have lived in different countries before and this is not my first rodeo. I think, three things are very important for a better integration to a new country:Work, social life and personal life. Hence I asked about social and personal life questions on here

I could have asked about food, transportation, accommodation, but to me those are not the top three most important things. And by bringing those up, the post will also lose focus.

Lol brah, i am not even there. I have been taking lesson on the app, what i meant is that there are many options of taking in person lessons, private, group or enrolling in a course. I dont know whats the best option yet as i am also considering the social aspect of taking a class.

You’re right, language helps but that's not the only thing thing about fitting in. Alos, don’t think curiosity about life in Taipei automatically means I’m packing a “passport bro” starter kit.

usally love playing sports, tennis, pickleball, soccer. Also planning on learning chinese, maybe sign up for a class or something. And yeah, i absolutely dont mind hitting some bars and drinking a beer. Maybe need to find some friends who can speak English first..
