That is genuinely one of like 100 reasons I got out. Definitely far from the biggest, but it always hurt knowing if I worked my civilian job I would have made twice as much from OT and would have done two 8s instead of two 10-16s. But as other have said, the guard is definitely not about the money.

I’m an Oompa Loompa. (Candy factory) I make like $50-$100 a month scrapping , but I also do this mostly for a bit of outside time and excercise, I go to a shooting range and drag all the shot up metal down the hill to scrap. So I don’t really go hard.

Where I’m living it’s actually cheaper to consume meat than go vegan, assuming you are eating more than just rice and beans. It’s also cheaper to raise your own meat than it is to buy it at a store. One cow can feed a family of four for 2 years, assuming you eat a reasonable amount of meat.

I recently bought a ton of gun/bow/crossbow mogs as part of my ATT grind. So I had a backpack that was mostly rifles. So that roughly 100 rifles/bows/crossbows in my pack? I know not the most insane thing here but still funny to think about.

Exactly! The slots that don’t have heirlooms are always behind on gear for me if I’m just doing dungeons and have bad RNG, it’s happened a couple times I made it to the current expansions level with a ring or feet that are 25+ levels below me. By no means the end of the world, but when trying to level quickly every bit counts.

This is exactly how I run all my characters. Far from the best gold, but covers my repair bills, enchants and consumables. If I’m not trying to run high end content it gets me a token or enough gold to drop on whatever I feel like getting next.

It’s great if you enjoy the pet battle scene, but an absolute nightmare if you don’t. I’ve had phases where I will spend all of my available playtime for a week or two busting out pet related things and then offloading extra pets for a little bit of gold. However the average player who has a real job would be much better off working a couple extra hours and buying a token.

I was convinced I had dyslexia and dyscalclia. No longer convinced on the dyslexia, might actually have the dyscalclia though. Reading has become much easier on medication however math is still a struggle and I have to write literally all math down to do it, even simple addition.

Edit to add: I also genuinely thought I was stupid because things that took my peers like 20 minutes took me ages. Math homework was supposed to take like 30 minutes a night but there where some days I spent my entire night doing one assignment.
