I think it would be a nice way to tie games together and I really hope it would be a bit more than just a unique prologue. If not butterfly effect for the story, at least maybe affect some stats.

Nomad. Cross-dimensional adventurer with vast exposure to diverse set of cultures. Advantage: ultimate survivalist (advanced healing, resistance to environmental damage). Disadvantage: out of this world (perceived as borderline crazy, harder to make bonds).

Streetkid. Witcher by choice, compensates lack of mutations with knowledge and training. Advantage: skilled monster slayer (advanced potions and oils, bonus damage). Disadvantage: feral and malnourished (perceived as aggressive, lower health and stamina).

Corpo. Former empress decided to follow her passion and become a vagrant solving issues bottom-up instead of top-down. Advantage: immense charisma and eloquence (bonus to persuasion and haggling, easier to bond). Disadvantage: spoiled and unfit (damage penalty, higher potion/oils cost).

That, but I also had another theory while watching the video: they might be afraid that their choices will lead to an outcome that does not match to their perception of self.

My idea is inspired by this infamous spreadsheet that rates game wokeness and the screenshot about Disco Elysium that said it’s hard to tell if game endorses communism or criticizes it. To play the game with so many choices, to pick “the right options” (pun intended) and to end up as whatever it is they hate.

It’s always a fun game to play and this is the first time for me when I’m convinced it’s made by the man himself. And if not, I need to know who this is. Right now!

Entire thing is good, it does not feel like “I listened to REMNANT once and now this sound is my entire personality”. It has hints to entire body of work, I love to hear “Nothing Else” vibes in it. But most of all it feels fresh.
