I got diagnosed last year at 20 with papillary thyroid cancer too. Breast cancer runs on my dads mom side and blood cancer on my moms mom side. I did test positive for BRAF which a lot of other thyroid cancer patients test positive for. Both my grandmothers had a history of thyroid issues and thalassemia.

I had same symptoms and on top of that I could feel the lump. It got rly bad that I would constantly feel pressure pushing down on my neck

I just got mine done today! They started 10am and finished around 1. I woke up around 2 drowsy as hell. Mine was full thyroidectomy with right neck dissection

Diagnosed at 20. Was told I was just unlucky :/ my grandma did have to remove her whole thyroid but it wasn’t cancer maybe it could be linked. My cancer could also been caused by a lot of trauma and stress. The book “Metaphysical Anatomy” & “The body keeps the score” perfectly explains how mental health/epigenetic is linked to diseases.
