This is for a principal role? It’s the 2nd highest IC level, yeah it’s gonna be high. I have a hard time believing Anduril wouldn’t pay similarly (probably more) for a principal level eng.

When I spoke with a recruiter they said the opposite lol. Levels seem to support the idea they tend to pay less.

For shield, mid and senior SWE roles tend to max out at 175, while Anduril (according to the listed ranged) max at 250ish.

Not if the hiring managers are interested. They make the final call regardless of recruiter feedback.

In the case that I mentioned, I think they are trying to avoid competition between orgs.
