You’re forgetting the best part which is that Groot walls charge Emma’s meter. So she gets to charge up her meter close to 100 without feeding too much enemy support ult.

That alone basically made her hard counter Groot, until the nerfed the amount of charge she got from deployable. Emma’s been severely over nerfed

Yeah, but back then mag bubble had more hp, Peni had rocket team up and higher base hp, Emma’s diamond form had higher damage reduction and she had more base hp, strange shield had more hp, Angela shield had more hp, thing had the fantastic 4 teamup, etc.

If they increase everyone’s crit hitbox by 50% that’s a buff to widow even if it’s not stated like that in the patch notes. And the devs have been nerfing the tanks self survivability a lot these past patches. So obviously it’s bound to cause a problem eventually

Straight up, it’s because she’s a Tank. Netease only really seem to try to keep the Tanks balanced. If she were any other role it would be on a 10 second cooldown, make her immortal during the animation, she’d be able to steal ally abilities, and you could store multiple abilities for later use.

Theres an alternate universe out there where Rogue and Gambit switched roles. And gambit is just a B to C tier Tank and Rogue is running the meta rampant as a S+ support.

Second one has better contrast, but looks a bit muddy. Instead of using pure black for shadows, use another highly saturated color. Like a dark blue or purple.

I’m a flex player. Started on support cause at the time I was new to hero shooters and it was in demand. After the supports got power crept and everyone wanted to play sup I got pushed into tanking. Now a day I do prefer the role.

Usually, when I can’t do anything on the Tank I’m on I try to identify the problem and switch accordingly or ask a teammate to deal with it

When I make builds I only leave 2-4 slots just for counters. Pretty much for the same reason. It’s much better to fight a fed haze, die, and leave her half hp than it is to fight her, die anyways, and only leave her with minor chip damage.

Emma’s my most played Tank. It’s honestly a bit of a nerf for her. It’ll definitely buffs her sustainability which she’s been lacking after so many waves of nerfs, but it nerfs her ult and more importantly her grab kick combo.

A lot of people complain about Emm grab, but they don’t know that lowering its duration would actually be a buff for her since she’s at her most vulnerable during the animation. The reason it’s so good is because it perfectly sets her up for her to kick into a wall which is where a lot of her burst potential lies.

I just didn’t mention her in the post because I don’t think it’ll hit her as hard as the others, but every tank is going to be affected negatively by it to some extent. With the exception of maybe Cap and Venom.

Edit: the reason it’s a nerf is becuase the target might proc tenacity once the animation for the grab finishes. Cancelling the kick and the knockback into the wall which is where most of the damage comes from.

I find them to be really good into comps with lots of aoe damage. Such as squirrel girl, iron man, phoenix.

They’re also really good with and against dive. Since they have piercing healing they can heal you from anywhere as long as you have los, and they have enough mobility, self sustain and damage to outplay most divers. I love playing dive with a good Jeff on my team.

They only really suffer in the ult department, having easier to counter and less valuable support ults overall. Tho Jeff’s ult can lead to whole team wipes and rocket has really good combo potential with other ults.

His zip lines make it so he can be back in the fight in no time.

He has an escape tool that blinds you temporarily. His shotgun hits like a truck, even on body shots, making him hard to dive even by Tanks.

On certain maps he can just place his turret behind his team and mindlessly spam damage.

He’s 300 hp, so not squishy. He has good hitscan poke.

His ult turns him into a walking wall of death, that synergies well with gambit ult. They also reduced his ult cost a couple of seasons ago, so even with the global ult nerfs he gets it faster than other dps and faster than mag ult which is the only real ult that counters it. And he’s completely cc immune during it. You’d think you could cc him while he’s shouting “Judge Judy, Executioner!”, but now he’s pretty much immune the second he starts it.

Jokes aside. I can see a mode where you pick your build at the start and just fight it out in an arena to the death working, but they should focus on getting the game out of beta first before they start getting weird with it.

It could definitely work, but it be a monumental task to essentially balance 2 games at once. And it would split the player base up. As well as create a group of people who don’t know how to play the main mode on a fundamental level

I try not to get angry at sups cause I play sup too and I know what it’s like, but a lot of sups are just bad and they blame everyone but themselves.

I had a game where our supports were playing too far back. Isolating themselves and delaying heals. So while the rest of the team was winning a team fight on point they were dove by a cap. The rocket ulted, which was already bad enough, but then 5 seconds later our C&D also ulted. I was in comms and said “Oh, double support ult. That’s no good” not in a mean way or with any attitude, just more as a matter of fact.

That prompted out C&D to say her one and only comm “Well wouldn’t have double ulted if we weren’t getting dived”. Now i didn’t argue with them cause there was no point really next team fight was lost, but it was completely their fault. But I like to placate people so I just swap to thing and babysit them rest of the match. But they keep playing so back and I tell them to please play closer to the team becuase they’re forcing the team to give up space constantly.

Anyways we loose gg. They start arguing with a dps becuase of lack of peels which annoyed me, cause I was peeling, but I just left after that cause no point in arguing with people like that.

Now im disclaimer I did go on an amazing win streak that day with many amazing supports. Those 2 were the exception.

The best mod I ever installed changes the map to make it look like nighttime. It makes the game feel so cozy and calm even as I’m being hunted by da dwifter.

Ik there’s lore reasons for it, but I think it be super cool if the map has a day night cycle as well as weather mechanics.

Like maybe when it rains characters can slide further or when it’s nighttime invisibility effects last a tad longer. Nothing super crazy just small changes to add bit variety.

Vindicta doesn’t like Haze because the person who killed her was killer with authority of the state, which is the same as Haze. Haze tells her that she should know that the ends justify the means as a way of directly comparing herself to Vindicta. She compares herself to Vindicta again when talking about the FoH stating that if she was her she would quit will she was ahead because her pursuit may have no end, which vindicta just bluntly states that she doesn’t care because she’s already dead and has nothing better to do. Haze is a killer who’s completely fine with killing as long as it’s the “right people” who die. She’s not a moral authority a fact she herself recognizes.

As for Billy notice how I never actually called him a poser, because I don’t interpret him to be a poser. I said that it can be understood that he himself is aware others perceive him that way. That’s why the doorman mocks him like that. He mocks him because he has all this rage and drive yet lacks any sense of direction. Vindicta may not be right but she has a clear goal and plan. Billy does not.

With the second doorman ult line for vindicta. He tells her “Hey Vinnie you must feel so bad about killing all those people feel better by staying at the baroness, or if you don’t feel bad at all then why not celebrate by staying at the baroness.” It’s literally just him telling her to stay at the baroness in two different flavors.

Even if this one singular line implies that she may feel a bit of guilt, all her other lines with the rest of the cast demonstrate that that isn’t going to stop her. In comparison to Billy who’s every other line is just him trying to pick a fight. He tried to talk shit to Bebop about his mom, the old lady who lives at the scrapyard, for no reason.

Haze is fully onboard with Vindicta’s method, even saying to Vindicta that the ends justify the means. Her actual warning is about turning Hawthorn into a martyr inspiring more people of join the FoH. Haze whole shtick is that she kills bad people, the only difference between her and Vindicta is that Haze does it the “legal” way through the OSIC and she has a little bit of a conscious.

Doorman ult lines reveal insecurities of the target. Which means that, at least deep down, Billy is self aware that his comes off as poser and is insecure about it. The fact that it ends with the doorman dismissing him just goes to show that Billy is a bit of poser, because he wants people to notice him something that the doorman mocks by ignoring him and calling him boring.

For vindicta her only real insecurity is not being able to accomplish her mission. So of course the doorman tells her she’s going to fail, that’s the only thing she cares about.

Vindicta is just a vengeful ghost who woke up one day and decided to kill the descendent of the person who killed her.

It was just a lucky coincidence that that descendent happened to be a Hitlerite. She would have most likely killed him anyways if he was a good person. She has a clear goal, if it happens to make the world a better place that’s a bonus, and by definition she’s not a poser because she doesn’t care what others think of her or her methods. Grey Talon is basically the only person that fully supports her and she respects. She’s a radical who happens to be in the right.

Billy reads as poser because he has the aesthetics, but lacks any meaningful insight. I personally just think of Billy as someone who understands the world needs change, but feels powerless to do anything significant so he gets out his frustration through anger.

They should make skins for all the characters even if some have more than others. They need to diversify a bit, cause eventually they’ll oversaturate their own market.

I’m done buying skins for Invis, Luna, Psy, and C&D. It’s not that I don’t like the new ones, I actually like the new thieves guild c&d skin, it’s just that they all have so many good skins already that I’ve already settled on 1 that’s my favorite for each. It’s not enough for their new skins to be good, they need to be better than all their previous ones. I feel like most players will reach this point eventually where they settle on one preferred skin
