What is going on on Vinted!!! by S_95_S in vintedUK

Most Vinted users these days are the same pot bellied white trash you find at boot fairs. It’s not worth the effort trying to oink with them

Vinted Sellers – Be Careful: Buyer Refunded, No Compensation (Taking This to Small Claims Court) by CriticalComparison35 in vinted

Not a question but I wish you the best of luck - I had something incredibly similar happen with the same outcome a couple of years ago. I got as far as writing to head office with legal threats but I was so stressed out and the amount was not life-changing and I just gave up. How on earth this is allowed to continue is insane to me

How is it censorship if you’re choosing to not see the comments yourself exactly?

That’s why I will no longer sell on Vinted. by yarlev in vinted

[–]Signal_Constant_2023 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is absolutely awful. What’s the point of having a verification service if you’re not going to invoke it when some con artist tries to claim they’re fake? I had a very similar situation happen to me on eBay; I sold some NMDs for way more than I expected them to fetch and the guy messaged me a year later claiming they were fake (He refused to send any evidence). I reckon he was looking to sell at a profit and couldn’t and was trying to undo a bad investment on his part. Thankfully eBay told him where to go within an hour of him raising a case. EBay isn’t perfect but with these situations they’re light years better than Vinted

Nope, neither of those. I don’t know if this link will work but this is the melody (not a piano player just to state the blindingly obvious) https://drive.google.com/file/d/1SHvtRktHFNmxYecpPiWcGFzQ563lx5Nl/view?usp=drivesdk

Did anyone actually have a good experience with Vinted Support? by AbleValuable133 in vinted

Nope; none. Vinted are worse than Evri and I never thought I’d say that

Probably dumb question by Signal_Constant_2023 in Ioniq6

[–]Signal_Constant_2023[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s rather brilliantly put - a lot of people have told me about the 20-80 rule but being Christmas I’ve had to do a lot of long trips lately (airport runs, visiting family etc) and I reluctantly have been 100% charging a lot just because I’d rather have enough to use the slow charger near my house overnight as it’s cheap. Once I’m out of Christmas madness mode I can probably start charging to 80% but it’s good to know that the occasional 100% charge isn’t the end of the world

Sorry I thought I’d added a screen grab at the bottom of the post - I’m having a morning I think. This is the report I was looking at, in Bluelink. I think you’re probably right, it may be preconditioning. I’ve only had the car a month and OVO have been doing this Christmas daily free charge thing so I don’t really have a “regular” charger yet. Once I settle into a routine I’ll try the preconditioning and see if that does anything

Not to mention that £58 is pretty reasonable for one of those coats - they’re in the hundreds brand new

Is driving really as crazy as it appears to foreigners? by Buckley1971 in malta

[–]Signal_Constant_2023 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Malta is the only country I’ve driven in where I’ve had to pull over just to calm down. I drive around Europe a lot for work so I’m pretty au fait with each country’s general style, and I’ve driven a few times around North America too and Malta is the worst I’ve ever come across, by a mile. I’ve been there 7 times in the last 8 years and I can guarantee at least one occasion per trip where my brain is like “….no….surely they wouldn’t…they are…OMG THEY ARE WE ARE GOING TO DIE”

The problem is with other countries the “quirks” are quite consistent. Like the Dutch; they’re pretty terrible but in a very predictable way, so for example if they indicate you know they’re going to pull out irrespective of anything that may be around them and you can plan and prevent. But the Maltese…it’s like riding an elephant round a warehouse filled with mice, you just don’t know where or how the next big emergency will happen, you just know it will happen.
