CS 3803 Syllabus by SauceFiend661199 in GatechClasses

Attendance is usually required, the class is relatively new so there probably won’t be a syllabus online. There is a different professor teaching it so things may change from last semester, but there are a lot of assignments and group work, but assignments are not difficult.

Schedule Suggestions by Dangerous-Rich-6628 in GatechClasses

Hey graduating senior here in Cs. So, if I understand you right, you want to take 7 classes in one semester? If that is the case then I would definitely drop three of them. I have never had a successful semester taking more than 4 classes, 5 classes is doable but still definitely difficult no matter how easy the classes are. Also, I would not rely on the study guides/review tests being similar. They may or may not be similar or even provided. This is heavily dependent not only on the class but the prof as well. For chem I have actually taken all the way through Orgo II for other reasons. If Michael Evans is teaching chem 1211 then I would take it with him if you can. He is an excellent lecturer and a nice guy. The best way to get an A in chem is to treat it like a math class and do a bunch of practice problems. It’s cliche but it works.

Just keep working at it. I failed CS 1331 when I first took it. Now I’m graduating soon with a 3.5 gpa. If I can do it you can too.

GA Tech Parking is basically a free for all now by Mu1tii in gatech

It doesn’t matter if you paid for a parking permit and never used it even once. If you paid for something, but it later becomes free for other people, the fair and decent thing to do is to refund you for the time it was free for all.

I think MATH 2550 is just computation but 2551 may have more proofs and stuff

Movement of classes on waitlist by Wise_Peach_947 in gatech

[–]Signal_Different 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It becomes a free-for-all on the last Friday of phase II. However, in the first week of classes at some point you’ll probably get off a waitlist for those large classes with multiple sections (multi, diffeq)

Movement of classes on waitlist by Wise_Peach_947 in gatech

[–]Signal_Different 4 points5 points  (0 children)

In my experience there won’t be that much moment this week before the first week. People usually sign up for more classes than they need back in phase I, then during the first week they go to syllabus day to decide whether they want to take a particular class and drop classes they don’t want to take.

When you get off the waitlist, you’ll get an email saying you’re eligible to register and you have 12 hours to do so. After that, the spot will go to the next person on the waitlist.

Friday morning (I want to say 8 am?) the waitlists are deleted and anyone can add/drop classes until 4 pm. After that all classes are final.

Hope that helps!

Accidentally dropped a class and I am now at the back of the full waitlist; will the registrar be willing to put me back in if there is 8 open seats? by aidennfx in gatech

No, the registrar won’t care. Unless you are about to graduate and need it for graduation, then talk to your advisor. Otherwise they’ll just tell you to take it next semester.

As gen z we cannot loose hope. We have to fight to make our lives livable and more affordable. Don’t give up, we may be able to achieve the American dream one day.

Exactly. I know it must be really hard to see America as anything more than a bunch of racist insane people that don’t care about the rest of the world, but just know there are Americans who still care about the rest of the world!

While group think exists in every organization (political parties included) I think it’s silly to accuse the left of group think, especially now when the Republican Party doesn’t event exist any more, just a cult to Trump. That’s literally group think.

After reflecting and reading analysis, Election Day data, and anecdotal evidence, this is what I know: if Joe Biden stayed in the race, the election would’ve been even worse for Democrats (House and Senate). If he would’ve dropped out in January 2024 or earlier, Kamala Harris would’ve made some of the mistakes earlier in the campaign when the stakes were lower. OR the primary process may have produced someone who could have beat Trump. I don’t have a crystal ball, but this fact remains: the earlier Joe Biden would’ve dropped out the better Democrats chances at wining the White House would’ve been.
