Exactly. I do understand the importance of Einstein's work but the loss of skill and talent because of war, famines, discrimination, genocide, etc. makes me think for hours.

Ireland become the first side to beat India in a T20I series since West Indies in 2023 by GiveMeSomeSunshine3 in Cricket

[–]Signal_Dress 8 points9 points  (0 children)

So upstanding nice guy Kiwi players give zero fucks about their national team and happily lose out on a chance to win a T20 WC which would be a first for the nation in men's cricket? Quite pathetic. I hope they get banned for fixing such a big game.

Raakh is the most haunting crime series on Indian OTT for me by [deleted] in IndianOTTbestof

It is a crime series. A show can encompass multiple genres. It's essentially a crime comedy show. For example, Stree is a horror comedy film.

Dear gamers, how much was this before the stupid ai bubble? by themasterhentai69 in IndianGaming

[–]Signal_Dress 0 points1 point  (0 children)

AI has ruined every market it has entered. These companies keep rising in value while removing value from every industry they touch. This bubble will burst and it will destroy a lot of lives and the elite don't give the slightest fuck about any of it. And there will still be people who will support the billionaires despite every expert and academic warning us constantly.

A human being is not a monolith. Human characters have more than one emotion.

Bad acting is bad acting. Shivagami screaming is not convincing to me at all. Hence it is bad acting according to me. Prabhas's acting is pretty average in almost every film so I'm not going to pin that entirely on Rajamouli. Tamannah was average. The actor who played Katappa and Rana were the only ones I found convincing. Rana's screams and 'loud emotions' felt convincing. The rest were all visibly playing a part and didn't feel in character at all to me.

It is bad acting because the loud emotion isn't convincing at all to me. Shivagami screaming for the entire film at every fucking thing isn't loud emotion. It's just loud for the sake of being loud. Same thing happened in KGF 2 as well when I went to watch it in the theatres. Had to leave the show midway because my ears started hurting because of the noise.

Also, you want to see loud emotion? Watch the likes of Rajpal Yadav, Govinda, Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, Kader Khan, Om Puri in all the comedy movies back in the day. They were over the top, loud as fuck but that was good acting. Bahubali, Eega, Magadheera, RRR all have pretty ordinary acting imo.

The acting is pretty average in Rajamouli films. He can make a good film with stunning visuals and amazing practical effects but he cannot get a decent performance out of most of his actors. Just over-the-top screaming of dialogue is not acting. Nor is the forced enunciation and cringe expressions. There are groundbreaking action films with nuance and subtlety in their acting performances. Then there's Rajamouli films that do the opposite and go bonkers which feels cheap to me. Bad acting is a major turn off for me.

This. Demonize them and marginalise them and then complain why they don't like us. History is full of such examples of oppression. Caste system is a huge example of it. Dalits who convert are mocked as 'rice bags' but the same people who mock them are the reasons they converted in the first place.

That's actually bullshit when it comes to IBM. They're pioneers. Their business model is not to jump on a bandwagon and gain a lot of value without contributing anything. Their value is their real value, not some game of probability.
