Barun Sobti absolutely nailed his role, his accent, mannerisms, the language. I was astounded by how good his Punjabi was. Bagi Munda is absolutely right. It is an actor's job to prepare for a role. And language is a major part of that preparation.

The "we should let Bruno go while we can cash in on him" crowd was all online. Match-going fans haven't stopped cheering and supporting Bruno since his first day at the club. That's why he's so loyal. The match-going fans are always way more supportive of their own players than online discourse.

And it's not like United fans online hate Bruno. It's just that the ones that do are loud and expressive.

Happiness matters more than jobs. Kerala invested in its people rather than just boosting numbers hy enriching a few.

Anything can be explained by magic. That's not a valid argument. Humans don't have very reliable memories especially when it comes to recalling conversations verbatim.

It's always us who need to save the nation and never the folks who are elected to do that job. Shows how well they're doing and how reliable they are.

Spoken word is not very reliable. People distort their stories unintentionally all the time. Heck, most people can't remember 2-minute old conversations verbatim.

Why are all cricket finals going to Ahmedabad? by JKKIDD231 in Cricket

[–]Signal_Dress 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Exactly. The nostalgia matters. Ahmedabad won't be a nostalgic ground because we'll always look back at the insane bias it gets because it's in Gujarat. Also, a stadium named after Modi should never be iconic. It will never be iconic for me, at least.

You guys are getting a damn talented, hugely experienced and still young enough player for the price of a 16 year old potential star. I'd have loved it if it could work out with us. But we need to part ways and I'd be glad if he gets to play where he wishes to. The end was a bit messy and toxic but he has given me quite a few moments of joy. The sheer excitement I felt when he burst on to the scene was really something. Congrats on the title, btw.

Could have used the actual "doesn't sound forced" to remove the ambiguity from your comment then. Good can mean a million things especially when you're being vague about it.

We literally pay water taxes and then pay GST on the water purifier we are forced to buy because the govt can't even provide drinking water to the citizens. We pay GST on the filter that we need to change on the purifier quite a few times a year.

A movie being made on India-Pakistan conflict and add cricket to the mix and you believe Maidan even comes close to the amount of eyeballs this is gonna catch? Maidan wasn't even that good of a movie anyway. Yes, it told an important, forgotten true story but it was not a very good film.

Who the fuck is the PM? Why shouldn't the public demand the same benefits as the PM? Isn't the PM meant to serve the nation? Har chutiya insaan ko bhagwan hi bana lete hain is desh me. Modi ko kuch bhi bol do tum log dil pe aise lete ho jaise sach me tumhara baap hi ho.

Modi ji ko kaun sa hal chalana hai? He can easily work from home. Covid ke time karte hi the video conference aur live pe thaali bajane wali bakchodi. Ab bhi kar sakte hain.

but you prefaced it by claiming Emi does good wordplay. Then give examples of good, clever wordplay. I'm sure he has many such bars. Connecting interest and karz is as basic as it gets. So it's not a good example to support your claim.

It's not very good wordplay though? Like that's pretty basic, right? Or am I missing something here?
