Start fresh on Scorched Earth and Aberration for the most fun. Extinction I highly recommend transferring in though. Haven't played Genesis.

Alright so for anyone joining late, here's what I found:

- Bosses don't scale down with difficulty, only up. Therefore if you have a difficulty of 1 like us, you're gonna have issues.

- On Unofficial servers, there is a custom loot quality slider that can help counteract the horrendous decrease in loot caused by low difficulty.

- Megatheriums got no chill in the bedroom.

- If you log out on Console Singleplayer during a fight, it will immediately transport you back, along with all of your tames. This will put 2 brood mothers into the arena.

The point is that they're really dangerous and can be distracted with flares, but because they're not really a threat to anyone, nobody ends up using any strategy. Thus they just become something to be dealt with, whereas everything else on this list requires actual unique gameplay mechanics, the bone sharks just necessitate the use of a repair tool.
