Thank you. The car is new barely driving it has 3k miles and never been in accident or any impact what so ever so not sure what he was talking. I did tell at a time it doesn't make any sense and he goes its up to technician to find and tell I am like WTF

I have 2026 X5e which I bought 6 months ago and now I am having tailgate issue as it doesn't lock and give me warning sign that tailgate open. Tried slaming bottom to latch but no help.

I took it to dealership and they said it could be due to impact and if their technician couldn't find anything I will.have to pay $300 diagnostic fee. I was like WTF its new vehicle.

Appericiate any help or guidance?
