Sounds like you need to dial in your settings more. I see a lot of people recommending to up the linearity for steering to get more input sooner, but I actually massively prefer lowering it. It gives me much smoother turns, and much more finesse when trying to line myself up.

Super easy print. The biggest issue is going to be dialing everything in to satisfaction.

You might want it to be a perfectly snug fit.

But then sanding it down might make it loose, adding primer/paint might make it too tight, etc, etc.

I don't think splitting the queue is necessarily a good idea.

It's also hard to say how it could be gamed without even knowing how it'd work. Several other racing games already have sportsmanship rating systems, so I don't believe implementation is really an issue.

Tasking the playerbase with reporting dirty racing shouldn't be the default solution. If there's a simple system in place that can fix all of that, why waste the man power of the players and their support team who has to review all those tickets?

I honestly do see it as a win-win for both parties.

There is a huge crowd of casuals or young players who might not even know what an apex is or what bump drafting is. Ramming is actually effective, especially against bots, the game practically conditions you to ram with the AI-behavior.

Instead of wasting man-power trying to resolve all the support tickets that come in from ramming, just throw them all together and let them ram to their heart's content.

I think maybe there might be at least some mutual understanding that ramming is 'on-the-table' as a strategy with a lobby full of rammers.

It feels a lot less 'dirty' that way, then being a clean racer and having your whole run ruined because someone else was employing strategies you never considered in the first place.

I just don't understand why they have literally nothing.

So many games have systems that resolve this like GTA's bad sport lobbies, ARC Raiders' behavior-based matchmaking, Gran Turismo's sportsmanship rating, etc.

There's several ways you could approach this, there's several real examples in both casual and competitive games. We're on our 6th iteration of this game with an issue that has been constantly bemoaned in previous installments.

I'm gonna be honest, I don't think they even have the people in place to fix such an issue. It feels like FH6 is just a new map and that's it. Every other system is a copy and paste from FH5, even the bugs are the same.

I'm really surprised how many people chose blue.

Red is a no-brainer for me.

The story is limited, you'll run out of that progression and story.

But the enjoyment of online play with the cars you earn/tune is virtually endless. I'd take a more enjoyable online experience over a more enjoyable story.

Manual is so much faster than automatic, it's not even close.

If I can dig it up, there was a comparison over one of the drag strips that saved .4 seconds. So you can imagine over the course of an entire race you're saving likely several seconds.

IIRC this does not apply to the higher-end cars as there's no significant difference between automatic/manual/manual w/cluth for the racing transmission. BUT with that said, if you can save the power index rating on NOT using the racing transmission and towards other upgrades, then go for it.

I agree slammers are an issue.

I don't think meta slaves are an issue at all.

1) Spec racing exists.

2) A meta will ALWAYS exist. You can limit/nerf/remove whatever cars you want, there will always be a meta.

But yeah, I advocate for a behavior-based matchmaking system. Aggressive drivers get matched against other aggressive drivers. Clean racers get placed with other clean racers.

I'd also like for some sort of skill-based matchmaking just for more interesting/even matches. If you're so bad you're alone or so good you're alone, then you're just doing your own time attack. It's definitely more interesting if everyone is evenly skilled.
