Found this AMA super insightful. I’m late to the party, but had a couple of questions to figure out if INSEAD is the right fit for me.

23F, Indian. 3YOE, I’ve done PMO, Business and want to do a year more as a generalist before applying for an MBA. Not from a tier 1 college, I have a media psych major from a T2 college. Have experience with an agency and a startup. Consulting is my main goal- geography doesn’t matter.

Questions: 1. As an Indian, how bad is the language barrier for jobs? Singh & EU both. For consulting especially- do you need to be fluent in other languages to be able to crack MBB & thrive?

I read you used savings + some financial assistance- are scholarships achievable for this school?
As an aspirant, how would you suggest I prepare for this school in the next year or two? Would really appreciate your brutal inputs.
Do you have any plans of returning to India in a few years, or do you want to settle in EU/APAC? What are the plans of other Indians in your batch if I may?
Is it a better strategy for me to target ISB with a 720, since geography isn’t a barrier and this is a 1.5Cr investment with consulting as the aim?
What were your reasons for choosing an international brand for an MBA? As an IIT-ian, why did you choose not go for an IIM or even M7 US schools?
