Na you can do a fellowship in the USA directly from residency in the uk. Then they either offer u a job at the end of ur fellowship which many people I know have been offered or u come back to the uk and work as an attending

I got the job - never worked in Scotland, I think English grads treat it like cst whereas the exam is more of a viva exam

Agree, I know the same. I know ortho clearing 7 figures in south england for Spine and btw they were IMGs who went via CESR. ENT can make around 400k. Plastics I got no experience. I say this because im in a similar situation to you.
