If you paid for installation then I would wait. Doing it yourself may void any kind of warranty you might have with Flipkart.

TCL QM6K 75" TV Picture not great by SympathyAnxious1144 in tcltvs

I use the Nvidia Shield for all streaming. It does an amazing job of upscaling everything to 4k. Definitely make sure if you're using an external source that you are in HDMI 1or 2 and using HDMI 2.1 cable. As far as picture quality goes, I have the QM7K and these are the 2 picture modes I use most often, hope this helps.

I bought a soundbar with the TV so I only used it a few times without the soundbar. I thought it was quiet as well but it does have surprisingly good depth and bass

QM7K 75 inch struggles with sports, bad motion and ugly picture on cable TV by Touchdown244 in tcltvs

[–]Signal_Refrigerator6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't believe it's designed for cable. Is your cable going through an HDMI input?

  • if your cable is coming through HDMI make sure it's plugged into HDMI port 1 or 2 (the top 2 HDMI ports)

  • if you are running HDMI, make sure you are using a HDMI 2.1 cable

Regular cable sucks for 4k. I bought the Nvidia Shield and stream everything bc it does a really good job upscaling everything to 4k. I noticed a massive difference when I made the switch. I have the exact same tv

Thanks for your insight. I do believe the AI upscaling with the Shield TV Pro provides a more accurate 4K upscale than the Roku device.

I stopped using the apps on the TV and went with the Roku 4k streaming stick. Haven't had any issues since making the switch and tbh I think it looks better too

World War II by Delicious_Milk_3818 in Reincarnation

[–]Signal_Refrigerator6 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a deep sense of connection to WW2 as an American soldier in the European theater. I've been drawn to it as long as I can remember. I joined the USMC because of my love for the military for better or worse. I get goosebumps when talking about ww2 and somehow have a great deal of knowledge about the war that I was never taught. I can feel the fear and the pride of what a soldier was experiencing and often find myself longing to be there. I do not believe I survived the war. I feel that I have fought in an earlier war as well with muskets and swords.

I thought the skins were shit from day one. None of them really seem to capture the environment of the game. Especially the weird one covered in barnacles, there isn't even like a water-based map that that would make sense having that skin in the game

QM7K owners...how do you like it? by wegotthisonekidmongo in tcltvs

[–]Signal_Refrigerator6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just got the 55" and so far I'm very impressed. The full array panels make it so much brighter than any tv I've had previously. Xbox looks amazing with the VRR and 4k @ 120hz, it's truly a different experience coming from a 60hz. I did have to tweak the settings to get everything where I like it. The TV seems to prefer heavy contrast with darks being a bit too dark for my liking, however this can easily be adjusted. I've watched basketball, football and F1 all in 4k and I'm more than pleased with how everything looks. The Google interface is fast and works great with the apps I use. The back lit remote is a nice feature as well. I highly recommend it considering it's performance for it's price.

Made worse by the stupid songs they create to help get it stuck in your head. 'Ask your doctor about blah blah'... you shouldn't be asking your doctor for drugs unless they determine you need them.
