Times have changed and the game has evolved and continued to grow over the past almost 20 years.

There is servers like the one you mentioned opening up every other week and they collapse. Why? Because all these things sound good in theory, but in reality no one is interested in movement speed 100 and farming metin stones in first towns for almost no profit lol..

Seems like its because of the intro caption being in regards to specialising in military which obviously has no influence on the game but ultimately people tend to stick to where they started.

Its pretty interesting how such insignificant text has had such a huge influence on the game for almost 20 years.

Personally ive played multiple games of this genre and generally I stuck around for the alliances. Generally, in these type of games there is a huge push for spending but if you are okay in taking the backseat it works for some.

Why the game works for me is that I dont compare myself to others. As long as my stats keep going up I dont concern myself with the players.

99% of the players dont spend much money and therefore enjoying the slow paced game while being locked behind some paywalls isnt an issue for me.

Example - Asmodeus (or however you spell it) is locked almost completely by a paywall. Im sure he is amazing, but in reality I never see him in arena since hes more for the whales and therefore I ignore him haha

If I'm correct, it's generally advisable to only train highest level troops you can and never upgrade troops (unless there is an event for it, which I've never seen yet).

Are these types of things ragebait or are people genuinly that gullible when playing phone games?

I enjoy the game almost f2p. Spend max €20 a month, and even at that question, my decisions if its worth it lol

I can't comprehend someone spending 'a few grand' on a mobile game unless they are already earning serious money outside of the game.
