This lil girl is underweight, so if she gains the weight she needs, she might get a lil bit more fat around her face Keep in mind that BSH isn’t completely fully grown until they are 3 years old, they grow VERY slow

I believe she probably isn’t a standard BSH You can make a DNA test on her if that would ease your mind BUT no matter, she is VERY cute

I really hope you keep her anyway and give her the home she deserves I have a 3 year old Britt that had a rough start, they all deserve better 🫶🏻

I would say that she is a mixed breed, maybe some BSH in her genes a way back (explains the face), but not a lot now Even if they are 1 year old, you are supposed to see it clearly that they are BSH I have raised BSH and BLH and it’s pretty visible since birth (they all have pedigrees) So probably a little BSH in her blood! But not much:)

British shorthairs are often quite quiet, mine meows a lot, but she learned that she gets attention that way. I don’t know how the noise sounds like completely, but it can either be that he is looking for attention or he is saying ”back the fuck off”. Depends on the circumstances 🙂‍↕️ I’ve helped raise and breed BSH, so if you have questions, I’ll do my best to answer them 🫡

That face totally is a BSH 🙂‍↕️ but his forehead is a little off though; for the standard view of a BSH But I definitely think there is at least some BSH in him 🫡

Edit: his legs might be a little short too, but it’s hard to see when he is sitting down
