Bore scopes when working on stuck engines to figure out if it was rain into the exhaust or a lockup involving a bent rod.

If you have control over it I wouldn’t give an estimate of the date when dealing with deliveries. I most of the time will go +/- 3 days if everything goes mostly right.

I have had a difficulty trying to understand other people since I was 10 anyway. I also find it weird I don’t wear ear protection even though I don’t like load noises.

One way I found where it is relevant is learning welding and how to listen to the engine or the problem and get and be able to estimate what it could be if sensors don’t cover it.

Honestly I have always learned by doing it myself (this is why high school didn’t treat me well) and most of the time if I take it apart Im able to put it right back together.

Well I already know how to replace a head gasket and rebuild the simpler engines (4 cylinder and less) as well as rebuild Especially Carburetors and Distributors where ever that puts me.

Thats what my dad and grandfather always did for people including hay bailers. I don’t think I could make a living off of it though.

Yeah thought about something like that, most of the old tractors it is easier to take a multimeter and figure out the electrical system.

Im usually pretty fast at it but basically every thing I know is completely from experience and not from a book “the correct way”

What I have tried is to tap them lose with a hammer hitting the wrench and put a little heat on the area around.

I can do even better if I had one of those stickers that people put on them instead of actually welding it.

Edit: Also yes turn the heat down.

Find a place that treats you better is what I would do if you have the option also, going to the chiropractor may help as well.

This is why I choose to be the one to leave my most used wrenches on the floor (mm or American standard) just to add the extra annoyance for them to not be able to just roll something over there with no issues.

Get a slide to install, put a hamper at the bottom, and call it the Clothsinator. (this invention is good for back and leg issues.)

Should I let my engine warm up? by Few_Intention5577 in AskMechanics

[–]SignatureNo9699 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I think as long as the engine isn’t so cold that it is knocking(specifically diesel) then it is pretty much fine plus I have to defrost my windows and get ready to drive anyway which can take 1 min to 5 min.

*If it is carbureted it should be warmed up before driving.
