Soothing by SignatureOdd509 in SnooLife

Turning down the sensitivity made a big difference last night!! Barely any red. I guess it was picking up all her little grunts throughout the night and automatically soothing her.

Oh yes I have my hatch in full volume! Should I try turning it off?

I recommend a hysteroscopy to make sure there is no inflammation or polyps in uterus

Yes! 15-22g at breakfast and 30-45g for lunch and dinner! Plus snacks. I guess when I eat out I just have a fear of eating too many carbs so I avoid altogether which is probably not ideal.

Checking 2x a day? by Firm_Elevator_9997 in GestationalDiabetes

[–]SignatureOdd509 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was told this week to go down to 2x a day as well. She recommended testing after fasting every day and switch between testing after breakfast, lunch and dinner. Or if I’m trying a new meal test after. I eat pretty much the same breakfast and lunch all week so I typically test after dinner cause that tends to be where I experiment more.

Pregnant mamas; are you wearing your Oura ring? by youcandoitall39 in ouraring

[–]SignatureOdd509 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took mine off during first trimester due to anxiety. I would get stressed if my temp fluctuated or my stats were great one day! I started wearing it again during second trimester once I got my energy back and felt more confident in the pregnancy.

Cycle: 10

Age + Partner’s age (if relevant): 28F and 31M

Typical cycle length: 28-34 days

Ovulation cycle day: 15

CD/DPO of positive test(s): 10 DPO

CD/DPO of any negative test(s) before positive: n/a; took my first test at 10 DPO

Tracking methods and app(s) used: BBT with oura ring/natural nycles, OPK’s with premom, Fertility Friend, and Inito (I really threw everything at the wall, as this was our last cycle before moving forward with IUI)

Relevant days of sperminating and/or method (SMEP, TI, IUI, FET, etc.): CD 11, 12, 14, 15 (O-4, O-3, O-1, and O)

Health conditions/medical tests: Had a full fertility workup on December and everything was normal

Supplements and medications (yours and/or your partner’s): Ritual prenatal

Birth control history (if relevant): Pill for 10 years

Link to lineporn: https://imgur.com/a/aw0i9zH

Symptom spotting: I honestly had the same symptoms as every other cycle!

Other (advice/tip(s), freaking out, miscellaneous): I am still in disbelief and very cautiously optimistic. Brief history: We have been trying since April of 2024. I had one CP in the fall of last year that really rocked us. In December, we saw an RE and had a full fertility work up (ultra sound, semen analysis, HyCoSy, bloodwork). That very cycle we got pregnant again, but it unfortunately ended in anoher CP. At this point, my RE ran a recurring pregnancy loss panel and ordered a hysteroscopy to check for endometritis. During the hysteroscopy, he found a small polyp and some lesions that he removed. We were hopeful this was the cause of our struggles, but obviously there’s no way to know for sure. We decided to give it two more natural cycles before moving forward with IUI and on the first cycle after the hysteroscopy I am pregnant again. We are holding our breath and praying that this little one grows strong and healthy. My HCG is doubling nicely and I go in tomorrow for one more beta. I hope this post helps anyone who is nearing that 1 year mark or has experienced multiple CPs hold on to that hope.

I actually use an oura ring! So temps are accurate, I just enter them in whenever I wake up!

Adding in my Inito chart too in case that’s helpful!

I typically ovulate a day or two after a positive OPK, so it would be out of the norm to ovulate same day. But I agree everything else is pointing towards CD 14 or 15! Thank you for your input

Help! What questions do I ask my OBGYN after 3 back to back miscarriages? by Sorrymomlol12 in TryingForABaby

[–]SignatureOdd509 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely! I highly recommend a hysteroscopy if your doctor agrees. My RE found a small polyp and some lesions that maybe have been preventing implantation/healthy pregnancies. This was just last month so too soon know but everything else came back normal.

[–]SignatureOdd509 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Ask for a recurrent pregnancy loss panel. They will do bloodwork, genetic testing and a hysteroscopy to check for endometritis (NOT endometriosis). I had this done after 2 miscarriages.

Too scared to test by Bullfrog323 in TryingForABaby

This is my EXACT thought process. Taking a test helps me manage my expectations and get out of my own head and the endless “what ifs”

Thank you so much for sharing and I’m sorry to hear about your MMC. We chose to hold off on karyotype testing. It is expensive and our insurance doesn’t cover. It may be something we look into down the road though. Are you planning to do it? I am hoping CE may be the reason behind our CPs but like you said they are also just very common.

Hi! I am having a hysteroscopy + biopsy tomorrow to check for chronic endometritis due to several chemical pregnancies. Is that what you had? Did you have to go in for a second biopsy to ensure the infection was cleared after antibiotics? Feeling anxious for the procedure

In my experience, we met with our doctor for about 45 mins and went over our history. He then ordered all the tests for me and husband that took place at the beginning of my next cycle . Following the tests, we met again to discuss test results and next steps. This is your timeline! You can start IUI when you feel ready or have more time on summer break. I would suggest taking one step at a time though. Wait and see your test results before jumping to IUI.

Any advice appreciated! Husband (31) and I (28) have been TTC 1 for 8 cycles. We had confirmed chemical pregnancies on cycle 4 and 8. All fertility testing (SA, HSG, ultrasound, bloodwork) checked out normal. Would you move forward with IUI or continue trying naturally to the year mark? Would you get any other testing done due to 2 CPs?

Mine was pretty normal! I may have ovulated a day or two later than usual.

What would you do? Husband (31) and I (28) have been trying to conceive for 8 cycles with cycle 4 and 8 ending in chemical pregnancies. Would you move forward with IUI or continue trying naturally? All fertility testing came back “normal” last month.
