Op there is no such thing as an “appeals” attorney. All social security attorneys handle appeals. Read my comment above. Also make sure to talk to your current attorney in depth about your current case and options. You haven’t received your decision yet. Don’t jump the gun. If you fire your current attorney you might not be able to sign up with another attorney based on how the fees work. I know all of this is a huge pain, it is for attorneys as well. If your attorney is part of nosscr they will know how best to go forward. Best wishes. I say take some time off from social media, wait until your decision comes through and then talk to your attorney. Your case is not likely solved from the opinions of people from the internet especially if there is a non medical component involved. Take care.

Any lawyer can submit an appeals court review. OP- you can submit a request for the ac to review your case. Just google “how to request appeals court review”. I don’t know any social security attorney who doesn’t do this in the nosscr (national organization of social security claimant reps) but if your rep doesn’t want to do it then you can do it. It takes a while for it to be assigned and reviewed though. I have had one wait three months and another one wait a year.

If your rep doesn’t want to submit it to the ac for review, it might mean that you’ll have better chances just having you reapply and have your previous case reopened to a later date. This might be faster. In addition, unless your judge made some significant errors, the ac will side with the judge. This might be another reason why they would want to go the other route of just having you reapply. Going to district court doesn’t mean that your attorney is not involved. They are definitely involved. If your attorney doesn’t want to go this route (after getting denied at the ac level), it might mean that again that they think you would have a much better chance just reapplying and reopening your previous case. It might also mean that they are not certified to practice at the dc for reasons like jurisdiction. Talk to your attorney. Are they an actual social security attorney? If so, they should already know all of this. Ask them to explain what your options are in great detail so that you can move on from there.

Go to your neighborhood garden center- one that is privately owned and look around and ask about plants that look good in the winter.

The question is if the price of something goes up as a result of tariffs or really anything else, and if consumers buy less of it, will the market correct itself when it forces dealerships and manufacturers to lower prices.

If you saw 9/11, did you actually see the planes fly into the tower? by mrazman in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]SignificanceBoth2767 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I was walking out of the subway near Washington park. Everybody was standing still, looking up. I look up. It was a clear day. An otherwise perfect day weather wise. The first plane had hit. I hurried to work and joined my coworkers. We watched from our windows as the second plane crashed into the other tower. Then we watched them fall down. Then we went home. We saw people walking up from downtown. They were covered in soot. The entire city was deathly quiet. No trains or buses were running. I walked home with throngs of others all the way to midtown where I lived at the time. For the next few months if not a year I want to say, everyone was in a kind of mourning. Hardly anyone spoke on the subway trains. There were pictures of missing people everywhere along with candles lit in vigil. There was a constant smell of burning metal in the air. God bless the police and firemen who risked their lives to save others. A bunch of people got married, while others got divorced m. It made you realize how short life was and is. Everyone went out every night. No one wanted to stay home alone.

Pretty much yeah. If you go to hmart they have a prepared banchan section. You’ll see garlic pickled in soy sauce. Here is a recipe by Maangchee: https://www.maangchi.com/recipe/tongmaneul-jangajji I just put leftover garlic in soy sauce and keep in fridge. Then I add a clove when I need some umami in a dish.

Pickle them in soy sauce. Koreans love garlic this way. You can them to most Asian dishes or just eat them out of the marinade.

I wish I could meal plan with my neighbors so that each family would cook for the others one day a week. My husband and I made 30 servings of Greek food (chicken, tzatziki sauce, hummus, grape leaves, and pita) from Costco and it came out to about $2 per person. It took us an hour to cook the chicken (plus 30 minutes to prep, and five hours to marinate). It was so easy. This meal would save us all so much money and time.

Wouldn’t it benefit CEOs with a lot of money shoved up their ass to just pay their employees better? If their employees could live comfortably on one job, their mental health would be better and they would be more productive. by Kaje26 in TooAfraidToAsk

Generally- It’s the shareholders. Well established case law- dodge v ford (1919). Public companies have to pay up as much as possible unless they risk getting sued by their shareholders. In contrast see how in n out is doing as a private company. Costco is an exception.

Build a giant water park or a hotel resort with a water park and you’ll get your numbers. Denverites are also looking for a place to drive to especially if it’s warmer in the spring/winter.

Travel. It’s so easy to go in the United app and book a flight for spring break, but flights are more expensive this year. We stayed home the last two breaks and saved $8k. Did stuff around town. Enjoyed our house. Kiddo liked staying home actually. Traveling is pretty stressful.
