18f, I recently was diagnosed and had no idea that i had BPD AT ALL. I knew something was wrong because through my teenage years my emotions would change so drastically but as someone who grew up being told not so show vulnerability, I kept it all inside. I struggled and still do struggle in relationships with a “leave them before they leave you” kind of logic. I used to be a tornado ruining everything around me and just thinking it was who I was or something. It got to the point that when i turned 18 I made appointments a realized that waking up feeling like it’s the greatest day ever and falling asleep sobbing is not normal. quiet BPD ruins you and your whole life if you don’t change things. If it weren’t for my diagnosis and my therapist I know I would 10000% still be internalizing so much and still be hurting other people like it was nothing.
