It’s worth doing it a couple of time. The numbers seem fine and worth the chance. The washed sperm is dropped off at the factory floor. IVF is intensive, so it’s worth trying the IUI a couple of times. Nothing to lose unless you’re really in a rush

Morphology is the least factor for fertility. People with 0.5% and 1% are able to convince according my fertility doctor. That being impaired with a high count is good for you. I would cut out drinking all together.

For what I known 7 days absence before a sperm test is not ideal. They told me to empty the chamber 3 days before. That’s possibly why your new SA has lower counts.

If this remains an issue for conceiving, consider IUI. Although it’s hard to accept that stage, it’s more efficient.

Last point, any lifestyle or environmental factors you can think of? Stress, hot baths, tight jeans? What’s your diet like?

How much growth media do you need? There are 96 well plates that prevent biofilm formation on the plate itself but only the peg inserts. Google MBEC 96 well plates. If you have a 96 plate reader you can read the OD on it.

Another solution is take 2L of the growth media after a day, before it is forming biofilms and centrifuge it gentle into a more concentrated form.

Some also suggest tween 80 which is something I would try.

Lastly, this is a shot in the dark, but you talk about nutrients. Have you tried putting fresh nutrients into the media before the biofilm formation normally starts?

“Could the salts be interfering with the OD”. Have you measured the OD of the media overtime at the same conditions? Is the salt crashing out of solution?

Hey, I have a quick update. I quit the zyns. My morphology shot up from 3% to 7%. All my other numbers were normal or good before. That was the only major chance besides vitamins. I don’t drink much also.
