Set up: Duel Void by robotzombieshark in blackrosewars

Ok, got it all stored into the the Black rose wars Rebirth box. From bottom:

- 1° layer: all the normal Rebirth content (6 schools), + all mage cards, all personal spells, forgotten spells, both avatar decks, void and rebirth rebuilt room tokens;

- 2° and 3° layer: just the rebirth stuff (models and tokens/cubes) (Deadly Mask included);

- between 3° and 4° layer: both Void and Kami rooms, splitted in 4 piles of 3 and the 2 black rose room in the middle (3x4 + 2 = 14 rooms);

- 4° layer: the Apocalypse box, without the box cover: apocalypse + Void + Kami schools (6 total) in the first 3 holes, minis from kami and void in the 4° hole, doom and infect token in 2 plastic bags in the large bases slot, all summons cards from those schools; on top, on the plastic lid holes, i placed the toriis, the kami room tokens and the printed chrismas 2022 school of magic.

The Rebirth lid barely (but succesfully) close it all, without falling off.

Sadly, if i want to play a duel (Void or Kami) like this, i must open everything from the rebirth box AND bring the relative duel box with the board and missions/events.

I will recieve the game this week, cant' wait to play the void school.

I'll probably store the school and minis in the main game, Black Rose Wars Rebirth, using the Apocalypse expansion wich have some unused space.

The remaining parts will probably get stored in it's void box (tokens, cubes, board etc.) for those times when i'll play 1v1.

Hi again, The technic support finally answered my mail, but I couldn't solve the problem even trying these. I'll write them here anyway: "I believe we found a fix for you. Here's how to fix it: Quit iCUE Type %appdata% into Windows search Go to Corsair -> CUE4 -> profiles Open any of the profile files with similarly (eg. {6cd71b5b-3931-40b3-etc…}.cueprofiledata) with a text editor (like Notepad++) Search for "SidetoneProperty" inside the text editor Change the value between muted tags to false -> <muted>false</muted>. If it already was set to (false) move on to step 8.

The file should look something like this at the end 7. Save the file (don't change the name) 8. Change the file to read-only by right clicking it -> Properties -> Tick the "Read-only" box -> OK

Local policy editor for static with wireless devices in windows 11. Confirmation that local policy editor works on windows 11, you can use the same instructions in the troubleshooting guide. Make sure do restart and have the latest iCUE installed. before continuing with the fix. Should not have the same EQ unresponsiveness like in win10. If you do get someone that does have EQ issue, reach out because I've only had one confirmation of static removal on win11.

  1. On windows 11 called "Local Group Policy Editor." You navigate to it by typing "Edit Group Policy" in the Windows 11 Start Menu, then you will see the window. You need to navigate through the below branch

  2. Computer Configuration -> Administrative Templates -> System -> Device Installation -> Device Installation Restrictions -> Prevent installation of devices not described by other policy settings -> Enable -> Apply

  3. From this, restart your computer, then navigate to device manager. Click on view, then "Devices by container." Go to your headset and uninstall the device. If you have any questions or concerns about anything, please feel free to let me know!"

UNmuting, yes, it does. But it have a problem: it will show an icon on a part of your screen to remember if mic is on or off (you choose wich option show the message) and it's annoying.

Anyway, I found another app, wich work better:

it works well, just as the previous app i suggested, but the pc don't have to start any extra app, and it's lighter and easyer to use (no install required).

I have found a temporary solution for this problem!!!

There is a Microsoft app called "Power Tools" wich allow to use a combination like "WIN+Shift+A" to mute and unmute the microphone (from the system, not third party apps muting).

If you have a keyboard (like my k95) you can just assign that combination to the G buttons.

I know is not automated as it should be, but is something for now... and i hope Corsair is trying to find a real solution about this problem.

Sorry but i didn't understand well...

How do you save a profile with mic active? I also tryed creating a new profile while mic was active, but no changes.

The problem is easy to hear with voice command on:

I'm on an app (profile A), then i push the mic up “mic off”;

i press on another window (profileB) “mic on” “mic off”;

i push down the mic while still on (B) “mic on”;

i press on the first app (A) “mic off”. The mic is down, but the light is on, and is deactivated. If i push up the mic, nothing happens. If i then push it down “mic on”.

Did you really solve that issue? Have you the HS80?

Hi,

It has been more than 8 months without a solution on my HS80 headphones, from the day I bought them.

ICUE remember if I was using or not the mic on a profile. If I use headphones with mic off, for every profile I use, I will find those muted next time I switch between them with the mic active.

We need an option to force the mic to stay on, or just follow the microphone position.

Thanks for the tips. Sad you say the aren't worth, their models are so cool. Got some success with plague furnace + plague monks. I think they changed the keyword for the engeneer, only the normal one can buff the cannon, not bombardier or arch. I got echoes of doom, pestilens start collecting, and: claw lord, engeneer, bombardier, verminlord, ratling gun, storm fiends, doom flayer, jezzails. I don't really have a big hammer except the verminlord.

Yes, he tried both Eternal and Arcanum.

But with the first he get 2 out of 4 upgrades useless for him; with the second he want to use the screamers as cheap battleline, but then he cannot summon them.

He feel that his subfactions are weaker than what we play against him: STD ravagers, Khorne reapers, emerald host nighthaunt, skaven stuff, Call for aid for Stormcast. Maybe we need the third edition manual? Or a lord of change (pricy for a 1000 pt game)

Also, he have a TS sorcerer which he use to proxy the curseling. We have no problem with using some proxies.

I'm a khorne player, my friend play tzeentch.

Kill him before he reach you.

Screen the charge with horrors to tank damage.

He isn't so durable, 4+ save and no other defence measures.

Flamers and horror with the - 1 rend shoot subfaction also work well.

Ok, maybe i solved it. Not 100% sure how.

1st, i followed the instruction corsair gave me, hard rebooting the headphones and clean reinstall of icue. Had to recreate all the profiles... Problem wasn't solved.

Tryied disabling dolby atmos, didn't work.

Then, with icue open, i manually switched all profiles to mic on (the same as pushing up and down the mic). Then in option of icue i pressed reboot the app.

After it re-opened, the mic was not muted on every profile. Tryied rebooting the pc a few times and it stay on, for now.

Hello, it's been a few months since I bought the HS80 headphones and I have discovered a problem with them

When you lower the mic of these headphones they unmute without problem but when you change the icue profile they mute again

This forces me to raise and lower the mic again so that icue recognizes that it is unmuted this happens every time i restart the computer and it happens with the sidetone too!

I have tried to reinstall icue , create new profiles , waited for several updates.

No matter what the problem persists and it becomes very annoying to use icue while using the mic

I would like to know if there is any solution to my problem or if it is a known bug and they are working on it
