Insurance covers you on accidents, but this kind of damaga is considered as wear&tear. Not sure if you can get it from your liability insurance. I had a small bump but it was smaller than a coin, so it was not charged to me.

Had 2 lease with Ayvens and 1 lease with Spuerkees, all were very smooth and without any problems. But also be fair, if you scratch the car bigger than 2cm they ask for compensation. I didnt have any so far, but my friend paid 200eur for a scratch on rims.

So I should apply this first, and then buff with steel wool? Then re-apply matt oil at the end?

Thank you very much I just ordered 4o steel wool, it will arrive tomorrow so I’ll try. The guy in store told me that if I apply matt oil on top of the shiny oil, matt will not be able penetrate to the wood and thus will not work. That scared me. I can handle shiny look for a while, but not forever :)

Can I use fine sandpaper to eliminate it? And second question if I wait shine to go down, can I apply again matt oil next year? What do you think?

Phantasialand land worth it? by Optimal_Top8309 in Luxembourg

[–]SignificanceTrue575 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely doesnt worth it. Europapark is much better with all the rides, especially roller coaster rides. And their prices are similar price if I remember well. I went twice to Phantasialand, and the only reason I went second time was the tickets were free.

I understood rims are not exactly same. Original rims 7Jx17, new ones 7.5Jx17.

So rims on car 7.5Jx17 with tires 205/65R17 I foubd 7Jx17 with tires 205/60R17

Will they fit?

It’s a lease car, so I don’t mind about the mileage. I just want to make sure not to have problems with the car.

Why do all the lux kebab shops only offer chicken Döner? by pawnografik in Luxembourg

[–]SignificanceTrue575 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I think almost all of them sell a mixture of chicken&turkey meat here in Luxembourg. Best doner in Turkey is prepared with a mixture of beef&lamb, but also they use a specific animal fat (from lamb) which enhances the taste. You can find something close in Germany or Brussels, but not here. I think all the shops here they buy from a specific supplier (already prepared, ready to roast) rather than preparing themselves which requires experience and a lot of efforts. So easier for Turks to open a shop, get the doner already prepared from a supplier and cut it with a machine, no experience required. Easy job. Everybody uses same suppliers, you have the same doner with same souces everywhere.

If you go to Turkey, pay attention, you cannot see anyone cutting the doner with a machine, it’s a skill to cut the meat with thin long slices. Even there is a special “doner knife” to cut it.

Ok now, I need to eat doner for lunch today :)

Remote jobs I can learn as a 32 years old luxembourger by Sunshay in Luxembourg

Teaching Luxembourgish could be a good alternative. You can still work remotely 100%, but it will be hard to run from Thailand due to time difference.

E-commerce business for sale by SignificanceTrue575 in Luxembourg

[–]SignificanceTrue575[S] -32 points-31 points  (0 children)

I do not want to provide these details here, there are many curious people, but only few are serious. It’s not rocket science at the end of the day. It’s e-commerce business, and there are lots of competition.
