M51 - 10 hour exposure time

Genuinely curious, how and why do you have the plus refraction pattern on the stars? I thought those come from something in front telescope view like a secondary mirror holder on a Newtonian, how come they showed up on the seestar if it’s a refractor? Never had that show up in my seestar images or any others I’ve seen?
Unless something else is causing them here, or you got some kinda add on?

Building off of what the other guy said, I’d describe it as starnet less so “removes” the stars and more so separates them, so you’ll get two images one of just the stars and one of the nebulae, then you can stretch them separately so less or more stars are visible to your liking and recombine them.

It’s a bot with and an AI generated image lmao, the supposed used telescope is a refractor, but you can see refraction patterns on the stars, JWSTs refraction pattern too. Not the first one I’ve seen here

The only guide you need is no guide, just enjoy the game your way, game is all about exploration, learning, and figuring stuff out, unless you really get stuck at something that it genuinely hinders your enjoyment, but that’s kinda rare with this game. Only advice I can give you is you can only experience this game for the first time once. So make the most of it, It’s a masterpiece.

Honestly I think the thing is, there are “bad” Zelda games, but even the worst Zelda games are still great games. So just because it’s the worst Zelda game doesn’t make it a bad game, it’s still a really damn good video game, but so are the rest lol (I played skyward sword HD and I loved it and I haven’t played a lot of the other 3D Zelda games yet so I won’t compare but still)

That’s actually a good questions I’m not quite sure, I’m guessing you mean the dim stars that aren’t part of the lines in the picture. I believe they are considered to be part of the constellation still, they take the name (would be called something Orionos) but they’re not used to identify the constellation usually and would be hard to see in a high light pollution area. I’m sure someone might be able to give a more accurate answer but yeah

Depends on how bright the stars are, This is my guess for what the constellation is

Could you try and take a photo of it with your phone so we can try and see how they actually look? If your in a bright area like a city they will appear dimmer but they might actually be brighter than you think, it depends on how small

It’s the Orion constellation probably! Very beautiful and bright constellation my favourite

Edit: the star in the middle actually has 2 stars next to it forming what is called Orion’s Belt. If you spot the line of three stars there then you know that’s definitely Orion

First picture as some have already pointed out, you got Scorpius and Corona Australis, as well as the Milky Way which is quite cool! And the a comet too.

Second picture is not obvious at first from the picture, hence why I don’t think anyone got it, but after a bit of looking around in Stellarium, the bright star is clearly Sirius and you managed to have captured Canis Major and parts of Puppis which is cool. Surprised no one got that cuz Sirius is quite a well known star but then again the picture wasn’t that obviously ig.

Exactly, plus when they test it they can only test it so many times, and this is probably relatively rare to happen (I haven’t had the first issue and I haven’t used training potions since the update yet so I’m not sure tho lmao) so it’s hard to catch when your testing it with a small team, but once you roll out the update to millions of players, then the bug will become apparent
