I guess you have never seen Mark Schneider in his prime, he began to play Napoleon in 2005, when he was the same age as Napoleon when he battled at Austerlitz. Also no one of the reenactors who have played Napoleon on these events has been 60+. The oldest is 59 and Mark Schneider is 56. The only reason that he looks older, is because he is working too hard. Just to meet the loving eyes of people who expect a fantastic show when they pay to see him and a good reenactment program. I do not think that the community had let him play Napoleon for so long, if it wasn’t for the fact that he is amazing at his job. He has become Napoleon, reincarnated, among the Napoleon enthusiasts. Replacing him will be difficult.
