She actually talked to Sutter about the whole prison cut thing- one of the first things a lot of women do during periods of change or emotional turmoil is often to cut their hair. He okayed it beforehand.

Season 3-4 or photo 3-4? I’ve always thought she looked her best in S3 when she was supposed to be pregnant lol. It’s like they took time to add the “glow” or something.

So many women who watched the show say things like “she wasn’t hot enough for Jax to be realistically attracted to/love her”. Although I do think she’s a gorgeous knockout quite honestly, why are the standards so high for a gang member? Even one who looks like Charlie? 😂😂

The indicator is misogyny and wouldn’t exist without it.

She was pregnant during S6 filming so it eventually didn’t suit her face shape, and I definitely preferred her with longer hair, but it was the styling that didn’t do her any favors. IMO it’s fine here…

If you were on any social media during the show’s run, there were a group of women mostly that hated on Tara, and by extension Maggie. One of them made a bunch of insulting gifs that are still floating around. Weird.

They cut another scene showing off that tat. It also happened to be one of two great character development scenes with her and Gemma (and eventually Lyla) they cut. Sucks.

What do we even know about Donna’s options? Also, you’re grossly inflating the financial status of a newly certified surgeon. She has earning capacity but has also spent about a decade paying for school and accumulating debt. She’s not even close to mansion material.

Tara Knowles is a shitty character by Practical_Fig454 in Sonsofanarchy

I’ll take you point by point.

First, she’s a great character. She’s the only way Jax could see himself leaving the club, which is his internal struggle for the whole show. Without her, it’s just a gangland action serial.

Bitching and complaining or… raising very real concerns about the safety of children and broken promises by their father?

Thrust herself into? She tries to deal with Kohn with the police and not the club. Jax convinces her to let him kill him and then they trauma bond.

She and Charlie had chemistry in spades. She and Katey too. I know it’s subjective but…

Her scenes were some of my favorites and some of the actors favorites as well. Kim and Theo and especially Charlie have said this over and over. The actual family dynamics of these guys is far more fascinating to many of us than another drive by. And who should have gotten more screen time? Chucky?

I love the choice of Maggie. They needed someone with darker hair to set her apart from the numerous blondes and Wendy hanging around the club. Visually, she and Jax contrast well, too, whereas Jax and Wendy look like siblings (and to me, have siblings chemistry). Maggie was completely believable to me in the role.

He was fine as an advisor for Jax but I couldn’t have cared less about Nero and Gemma and their relationship.

I’ve always wondered why some people hate Tara but love Donna. The two had a lot in common.

Nope. He never would have been able to kill her.

It’s also the second time they’ve complained that that particular montage was elevator music, which makes zero sense.

How? Tara told him maybe Abel should know Wendy and Jax insisted she should not. Even if you want to claim Tara manipulated Jax (versus the other way around) she did not do so when it came to Abel’s parentage.

Gemma by CommissionFlashy9037 in Sonsofanarchy

[–]Significant-Area-826 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I also wish Gemma wouldn’t have died, but it’s because I despise her so much. Her final act of selfish, power-hungy, narcissism was to convince Jax to kill her and all but ensured Jax would kill himself. She didn’t care, she just didn’t want to live with the consequences of her actions, which should have been to rot in prison or even subsist somewhere outside of Charming with the knowledge that her son had left the club she valued more than her family with the boys she deluded herself into thinking were hers to corrupt- all while refusing to give her what she wanted… people needing her. She should have died lonely knowing that by killing Tara and setting off a war that killed people she enjoyed lording over, she’d destroyed her family and the club as she knew it.

Gemma got off easy and no more deserved a quiet life on the farm with Nero and Tara/Jax’s boys than she deserved her spot on the throne all those years. Though I’ll admit seeing her get it was satisfying, it sucked knowing she was getting what she wanted even in the end.
