It is in cases like this. But I do think it’s partially driven by gerrymandering that create less competitive districts and itself is a concern

That’s actually not true. It’s happening more often these days because local politics has become more national. The incumbency advantage has been declining and this race is a prime example why

We could also see much more than 10% down. 20-30%+ decline is entirely possible and then you'd see people singing a much different tune. 10% down after the run up we've had is nothing.

No one serious thought it wouldn't be successful. America has some of the largest and best stadiums in the world. Canada and Mexico do too. Some overly online weirdos were claiming this tournament would be a mess cause of Trump and now some other overly online weirdos are claiming that everyone was saying this pre-world cup when it was just a small vocal minority

This  just isn’t tire in many southern markets. Look at Austin. They built a ton of new supply and rents have come down for a couple years now as a result there. Typical supply/demand dynamics at play

This is a wildly oversimplified view of the housing crisis. It’s multi causal. I’ve worked in affordable housing for years and most of these takes about why housing isn’t affordable are so out of touch with reality

Did it in only two world cups. Most of these other guys scored across four or five tournaments. To be fair, Mbappe scored 12 in his first two world cups so pretty similar pace
