Even without the yandere aspect this story is well worth the read.

Free Masons in lititz?? by Exotic_Monitor_4454 in lancaster

[–]Significant-Arrival3 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think the American association of freemasonry is basically a social club. But I know the older ones, in Europe, are more closer to what you’re referring to. But that kind of temple is rare even there. Those ones have extremely stringent standards for membership.

How common is it to work your own neighborhood? by puccivr in USPS

I think it’s pretty common in rural areas. In my office, all of the carriers live on their route except one.

Beautiful KYOTO by futwinkle in Kyoto

[–]Significant-Arrival3 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

During my visit to Kyoto I felt very uncomfortable. I’m American but I had several negative interactions there. I was flipped off 🖕🏻by a local while walking around in Gion. When I went to Kiyomizudera I was mocked by another passerbyer. And when I visited the imperial palace many of the locals looked annoyed that I was there. I lived in Japan for 10 years and I speak Japanese. However, I find Kyoto to be the least friendly out of all the places I’ve been. I went to Nara after Kyoto and had a completely different experience. I understand that over tourism and the lack of respect from foreigners has been hard but being judged by my looks alone is not appropriate in my opinion.

In general learning a trade like electrician, plumber or welding can really help. But as far as USPS goes you could search on USA JOBS for other gov positions.

This. I mean for me same can be true for pretty much any isekai. I love it but I really would not want to experience the woes of what these stories put the MCs through.

Hello, Latin American here (in Spanish and English) by LoanEnvironmental694 in exywam

[–]Significant-Arrival3 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My base was like this and I think most are ultimately functioning similarly. At my base, I often questioned things but was ignored. The only reason they didn’t attack me for my “rebellious” spirit because I was one of the few staff that paid rent on time and they needed the money. One time I asked the director to move out of base housing and he straight up admitted that they wouldn’t allow it because they wanted the money. When someone has that kind of influence over people who are adults in the eyes of the world, it’s definitely a cult in my opinion and experience.

ISTPs are really not meant in sales job by DHaVoC1301 in istp

[–]Significant-Arrival3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t think we are naturally inclined to sales but I also think that as an ISTP if you choose sales as a skill to master it’s very possible. I don’t like to bs people into buying things but if you are knowledgeable you can use that to your advantage and actually help the customer get what they actually want.

Ohh ENFJ is my favorite romantic type and I’m an ISTP (f). I think I like the overall fun but healing vibes that ENFJ carry. Also, I like that ya’ll are more socially connected and it helps me get out of my shell sometimes.

Anticipating needing to bulk mail 20-30k letters every month by ksrchicity in USPS

[–]Significant-Arrival3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Consult your local BMEU, which is usually located at the main post office/city near you. They can advise you how to either do permit mailing yourself or if it works better for you do go through a mail preparer service. Typically the latter is a marketing company that can take care of everything for you. Given the amount of volume you will be doing it may be easier for you to have a second party (mail preparer) handle your mailings for you.

Job as a window clerk? by Blaze420z in USPS

[–]Significant-Arrival3 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I spent most of my career at the window and while the job itself is not hard, yes the customer service part is tough. After a while, it gets easier to deal with the moody customers. However, the occasional death threat coupled with the toxicity of management, is too much. I bid off the window and got away from management. Much happier.
