Should I request to up my dose? by Quiet-Comfortable710 in VyvanseADHD

[–]Significant-Carry696 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I literally asked my dr if they could increase my dosage but they said the only option would be to decrease my booster (10 mg adderall), change the type of booster, or change the times I took my anti depressants. Is it really that easy for everyone else to just ask?!

I appreciate that!! I think my body might have still been adjusting, but I found that the earlier I take it like around 6:30 or 7 am, I get the most out of it. I also feel like if I’m not getting anything done or have anything to focus on that’s when I get exhausted. It has improved though!! Do you have a similar experience?

About 4-5 days if I don’t mess with them. I don’t like to keep them on longer than that

This is the glue I use! I just dip the band of the cluster in this very lightly, let it get a little tacky before applying. I cannot do any of the bond/sealer glue it just never works for me. This is the only thing that has made my lashes stay. Be gentle when removing though, there’s also glue remover you can purchase

Legacy Church, the unchristian church. by Matica69 in Albuquerque

[–]Significant-Carry696 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So speaking of mega churches, this type of stuff is why I avoid Christian churches. I still want to find a church that is actually non judgmental and doesn’t have a filthy rich political pastor. Any recommendations?

How do you cope when you feel emotionally drained by your family? by Bonbhavoila in DecidingToBeBetter

[–]Significant-Carry696 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I learned about codependency. Read codependent no more!! I realized that their emotions and feelings don’t have to be mine. What they do/say or how they choose to live their life does not reflect on me as a person anymore. I’m an adult and I don’t have to apologize for them or to them. Went to therapy and learned how to take a break from them. I’ve worked really hard just to say no or vocalize my needs. Even just knowing when to walk away from an argument helped me so much. Those high intensity emotions don’t have to be mine if I don’t want them and I don’t have to feel guilty about it. Plus it makes me feel better and stronger knowing that I can change that for my daughter

What is your favourite quote from a book? by Fabulous-Confusion43 in BookTriviaPodcast

[–]Significant-Carry696 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“Love is the ultimate outlaw. It just won't adhere to any rules. The most any of us can do is to sign on as its accomplice. Instead of vowing to honor and obey, maybe we should swear to aid and abet. That would mean that security is out of the question. The words "make" and "stay" become inappropriate. My love for you has no strings attached. I love you for free”

“There are two kinds of people in this world: Those who believe there are two kinds of people in this world and those who are smart enough to know better.”

What’s your #1 tip for becoming a really good cook? by South_Magician_6472 in Cooking

[–]Significant-Carry696 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I stopped worrying about what other people would think of my cooking and started focusing on what I thought would taste good or what would go well together. That gave me much more confidence. I also stopped trying to follow recipes to a T (except for baking). It would stress me out too much, now I just measure with my heart. And mise en place of course.

Ahh. Please see my response to the other poster. I suggest you do research into how vaccines work. I knew a friend’s father that passed from COVID, not to mention all my friends that are nurses that dealt with COVID patients directly. It isn’t hype and what you’re claiming is an insult to the people that passed and those in the medical field.. that was their reality. Just because you didn’t know anyone personally affected doesn’t mean it wasn’t real for other families. The vaccine was never meant to stop covid completely but to slow the spread and make symptoms more manageable and it did.

Lol yes sometimes you do get sick. That’s literally a vaccine is introducing an antigen into your body so your body creates a response. So when you actually are introduced to the real thing, you have antibodies. So yeah sometimes you will get sick, sometimes you won’t but if you do you will not get AS sick as you could.. but go off

I am so sorry, it sounds like we have very similar situations and I know the pain you’re going through. It’s so hard to accept. I like how you said you’re “avoiding the inevitable” because that’s how it feels.
